Stopped here as it was "near" (an hour away) to the Eagle's Nest which we were visiting the following day and one if the more reasonably priced hotels available at short notice (€148). Hotel setting is lovely, parking our car opposite by the park in which we had our evening meal from a Steak House restaurant on the corner. Room was large, clean, quite dated but fit the style of the hotel which is over 100 years old. Good choice of breakfast in the morning. No negatives to call really, definately recommend.

Great hotel, central to the town ( anout 5 minutes walk to the main square), but quiet giving a restful night. Private and secure parking is available at no extra cost which is a significant benefit, particukarly for motorcycles. Easy to find and would highly recommend. Didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment; good continental breakfast available with convenient hours. Unsure of when the bar/ restaurant was open, but I'm sure if you asked reception they would let you know. We were staying in March which is really off-season.
