Staff were great and super helpful with everything I asked about. Breakfast was delicious and I’m kind of sad I don’t have it anymore now that vacation is over! The room was great, with beautiful views! And it was very quiet when I needed to put my baby down for naps and for bed. Very convenient to lots of good places to eat and shop! Loved our stay!

The reception staff at Daru Sultan were extremely helpful and the view from the room was exceptional. The location close to Galata Tower and public transport was very good. However, the Turkish ‘character’ of the hotel masks a need for updating the rooms especially the bathroom which is small and basic. Breakfast was very Turkish, good range of cold food but minimal cooked and lots of chipped crockery.

Great location and close to metro and bus stations. Staff were very friendly. The hotel is a little dated and could benefit with a face lift but room was quiet, even when facing city side. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast location was quite ideal… top floor with a great view of city, Galata Tower and Bosphorus and Golden Horn, without needing to go up to The Galata Tower. Great value.

Perfect place to stay. Nice and quiet. Very clean rooms. Very helpful stuff. Although it is decorated slightly over the top, it still looks good and intentional. Good full breakfast as well. The only down side is the distance from the airport. But most of the good hotels are like that. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great hotel located close to the Galata Tower, about a 30-40 minutes walk from the historical sites in the old town. The hotel was very comfortable and the views from our room and from the breakfast room were incredible. Good selection of hot and cold foods for breakfast. The location of this hotel is great. Close to the Galata Tower and the nice street where the tasty Turkish version of the originally Spanish Basque Cheesecake is sold. The room was clean and stuff were friendly. Breakfast buffet is not the biggest but the food is tasty. Plus point for the free water.
