Room was basic but clean and in a good location. Walls were very thin, the people in the room next door were so loud keeping us awake at all hours. They also decided to change all the door handles during the stay which we were not informed about at check in which was also very loud and continued late into the evening.

I have stayed at the Esperia on many occasions. The hotel is extremely well run. The staff are 'wonderful', always friendly and helpful. The location is near to the beach, the Mandraki ( harbour) and the Old Town. It is also convenient for bus services.

Budget Hotel, which was great value for money. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We had a club room, it was very small but had everything you need, the shower especially was poweful with consistent hot water. Good choice at breakfast, hot or cold, whatever you wanted. Location was excellent, 6m walk to the east coast of Elli beach, less than 5m walk to shops, restaurant's and bars, Mandraki port about 10min and the Old Town 20min walk.

Location fantastic, the rest is average

The room was clean but small, balcony was nice. Bed was two single beds which, while pushed together, were not attached so easy to slip down the middle. Breakfast buffet was average, nothing special. But the location of the hotel is spectacular & there are loads of nice breakfast places nearby.

Arrived 1 hour later due to delays ,staff on duty were really welcoming and nice, friendly,the reception/lobby was so cool with the a.c on has were always hot from being out and about .The room was lovely,cleaned every day,fresh towels ,sheets ,fridge stayed on even when we went out ,so did the a.c..Dryer in the room an a free safe to set up yourself and use , which was great . The Pool was really nice ,I think it's ok ,it might not be the biggest or deepest but it enough,to cool off when you need to. I don't like being in deep water anyway. Lovely lady who served me a cocktail from hotel bar ,was the best cocktail ever . Breakfast was amazing lots of choice,from continental,bacon , Frankfurt sausage or turkey cut up ,to fried eggs , scrambled, omelette, vegetable too and fresh fruit ,cereals ,jams , chocolate,bakery ,buns ,bread , croissants,an make yourself toast , absolutely enjoyed my stay at the esperia city hotel,the place is nice , people are very friendly, welcoming.Visited the ACROPOLIS on the open hop on off bus ,we went to the old market which is fantastic,new town ,and all the bars ,lots of restaurants,really loved it ,I didn't want it to end .

We had a very unpleasant experience with the receptionist, Vaselis. Throughout our stay, he repeatedly spoke to us in a disrespectful and confrontational manner. We never intended to cause problems and treated the staff respectfully. We simply expected the same respect in return. Unfortunately, the way we were spoken to and treated throughout our stay made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I hope the hotel addresses this behavior, because no guest should be treated this way.

The room we had booked was occupied with a semi dressed older lady which was a shock It’s not the first time whilst in Rhodes this has happened We were given an upgraded room but still a shock to find semi naked people in your booked accommodation

Breakfast amazing! Rooms small. Park area across from hotel seemed sketchy. Some drug use there so seemed unsafe. Even though I booked large room for 4 adults in hotel in January, they did not keep that room available and sent our family across street to apartment building. Also told them first day our phone didn’t work, but it was never repaired and we could not call family room to room all 5 days we were there.

Paikallisen luokituksen mukaan hotelli olisi 3 tähteä, mutta minusta vähintään 4,5 tähteä. Olen yöpynyt Rodoksella useammassa 3 tähden hotellissa eikä niissä taso ole ollut lähimainkaan yhtä korkea.. Siksipä palaamme taas ensi vuonna 15. syyskuuta Esperiaan.

Kokemuksemme oli kaikin puolin mieluinen ja onnistunut. Meille oli varattu virheellisesti liian pieni huone, mutta ystävällinen ja mukava henkilökunta vaihtoivat huoneemme suurempaan ja parempaan tasoon ensimmäisen yön jälkeen. Huoneet oli oikein siistit. Kadulla olevien ravintoloiden äänet kuuluvat huoneisiin selkeästi, mutta se ei juuri häirinnyt meitä. Voisin hyvin varata huoneen uudelleen tästä hotellista.

Hotellet var i sin helhed fint. Det lå tæt på stranden, og personalet var sød og venlig. Dog var der meget larm fra de andre værelser. Der var meget lydt fra ex. når stole flyttes eller døre som lukkes/smækkes. Morgenmaden havde meget at vælge imellem, dog synes vi, at den ikke smagte særlig godt.
