This hotel was our perfect stay. It is located quite central but at the same time in a quiet area. It has a beautiful interior with lots of amenities. Breakfast was superb and it has a good sized gym with a nice view. Breakfast was good and staff very polite and even though they do not understand English they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended.

This is truly an amazing and very well maintained property at an even more amazing value. Truly old world luxury with beautiful marble and wood fittings. Even the curtains were a feast for the eyes. The bathroom was a true luxury with mirrors and lighting in all the right places. The marble wall is a work of art with grain resembling bamboo which is so fitting for Chengdu! The breakfast was also amazing with very good quality food and drinks. Stayed 4 nights and the only thing I would say they can improve on is perhaps have a mirror in the room and vacuum the floor daily (as some remnants of nuts were still left on the carpet on our last day). A perfect stay at incredible value.

We had an absolutely wonderful six-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff genuinely couldn’t do enough for us and were incredibly warm, attentive and accommodating throughout our entire stay. Travelling with our children, we particularly appreciated how welcoming everyone was towards both the kids and adults. We also had Club Lounge access, which I would highly recommend. The food, service and overall experience made it well worth it and added something special to our stay. Both the kids and adults had an amazing time, and the hotel was a fantastic base for exploring Chengdu. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels so personal and genuine. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We absolutely loved our time here and hope to return to Chengdu and The Ritz-Carlton again in the future!

Hotel was centrally located in the downtown area, It was easy to navigate the city with the subway and taxis. All the restaurants and shopping were adjacent to the hotel. The evenings saw many local residents walking, eating at local sidewalk restaurants and shopping. Very convenient location. Luca Spatafora, who was working the lobby reception area was extremely helpful with my phone e-sim card, and other recommended restaurants. He also followed up with my departure to make sure all check was done to my satisfaction.

Very clean and comfortable room and excellent staff who were incredibly hospitable and helpful. Ventilation on non-smoking floors can be improved as cigarette smells could still be detected, although this was less pronounced inside the room itself.
