Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa strikes the perfect balance, it’s incredibly convenient for walking around town, yet the stunning rice fields on the property offer a peaceful, natural escape right in the heart of Ubud. The facilities here are excellent. I really appreciated having access to the gym, spa, onsite restaurant, helpful tour assistance, and daily yoga sessions. I want to give a special shoutout to Kusuma Y., my all-star pancake chef and an absolutely wonderful member of the restaurant team. Her warm, friendly demeanor made me feel completely at home (so much so that I wanted to extend my stay!) and made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable. Her dedication to serving up breakfast with a genuine smile left me with such fond memories of my mornings at Plataran. The entire team went above and beyond to give me an amazing experience, and I am certain I'll be back!

Hotel staff were service oriented and professional and always positive. The three pools and gym made it easy to exercise and the breakfast buffet had egg station and both hot/cold foods, Indonesia or western. The grounds are lush with paddy fields front and centre. The main road is a 3-4 walk from the hotel and it has numerous restaurants, stores, ATMs, convenient stores within minutes of the entrance.

My wife and I first visited Plataran before we got married, back in June 2018. The memories we made here were so beautiful that, eight years later, we returned with our child. Plataran is even more beautiful, more welcoming, and more memorable than it was eight years ago. Although our two-night stay felt far too short, the memories we created here will stay with us for a lifetime. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Plataran. Every staff member greeted us with a warm smile and made our stay truly special. And on a personal note—the omelet was absolutely the best! 👍 See you again, Plataran!

Good hotel, staff was all great. The hotel is a bit dated - condition of rooms etc is more like a 4 star. But service is great, pools are nice, overall nice little haven if you want to be in the centre of Ubud. Private path to yoga barn is a huge pro if you’re frequenting the studio. Overall would stay again.

Lovely peaceful hotel, amazing staff!

Lovely hotel! I had such a great stay at the start of my Bali trip that I stayed at Plataran again for a few days at the end of my trip. It feels like you’re in the countryside surrounded by gorgeous lush green rice fields and nature, with stunning views from the glorious pools, gym, restaurant and rooms, yet it’s walkable to shops and restaurants and right in Ubud city center. This is the perfect place for yoga lovers as it’s 4 min walk to The Yoga Barn! The staff were all super friendly, kind, attentive and helpful and went over and above to prepare healthy vegan and GF foods for me and make sure I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
