This is an old school beach motel. It is shabby but very clean. The owners (sisters?) were so nice. My room was missing the DVD remote and they brought me a new player and hooked it up. My main complaint was the bed: there is a plastic type mattress protector under the fitted sheet and it makes a rustling sound when you move and because the plastic is right under the sheet, the plastic made me sweat. Not a good situation, I loved having a tub and had a hot soak both nights. It was affordable and I’m Seaside that’s saying a lot!

We booked this for the volleyball tournament and it was perfect. Just about a block from the sand made beach access easy and convenient. Parking seemed fine for guests. If you are looking for something fancy and up to date I would say this is not the place but if you need a great location and care more about the location and not being too pricey, this is the place! We stayed at the Holiday Inn in the past which is obviously more up to date, has breakfast, a pool, just a little further from the beach, but we paid almost double to stay there. For our family of 4, this was perfect and will come back again!

Such a cute little stay! They are very accommodating to guests with dogs and provide a whole little dog kit- including doggy bags, bowl, and a list of dog-friendly places to eat. Walking distance to the beach, jacuzzi bathtub, and very comfortable beds! You can borrow movies from the office to watch, if nothing on cable is striking your interest. Yummy snacks and coffee available too! I plan to stay here again.

The exterior of the location is very old style. Reminds me of beach cottages. The interior of the room was updated and very nice. I loved the gas fireplace in the mornings and evenings. Great location with quick walks to the beach or shopping, restaurants and bars. My first night I walked over to meet friends for dinner and I realized I may have forgotten to lock my car. I called the front desk and Ruth went and locked it for me. The next day when I was debating on driving or walking another hotel worker said they would make a sign for where I was parked to reserve the spot for me. That was so incredibly nice and above and beyond what was expected. I would stay there again.
