The location was perfect. So quiet. Check in was a breeze. Hidden treasure. So happy I didn't book at Hamptons, Holiday in or a larger franchise. This was perfect. Not fancy. Room was clean, plenty parking, full size fridge, stove, microwave and the river.

We upgraded to a suite with a kitchenette so we could pick up a takeaway after the long drive, in the kitchenette there was NO cutlery, cups, plates, glasses, had an induction stovetop but no pans, microwave did not work, no kettle and the pouch holder did not fit the coffee maker, room was very big but very dated, large fridge that worked very well. Glad we only booked the one night.

All in all the room wasn't bad, just few things within the room was the issue. When walking around the room, the floor made my feet black within a few steps, no in-room amenities such as a room clock and telephone, there was flies flying around and little ant-like bugs were on the floor. The outside maintenance was not upheld from the grounds keeping to trash in trash cans not being emptied. The staff was polite at checkin and out

The room smelled so bad and was so musty we couldn’t even stay. In the pictures it show carpet and the floors were tile. Just very disappointing. Would not recommend. I booked on line so I could not get any refund either.

Very spacious, clean room, comfortable bed, excellent water pressure with lots of hot water, excellent staff, amazing view, unique interior design of the hotel with a Koi pond. The large picture windows facing the river took up the entire wall of our room and were coated so that we could see out, but people could not see in. Could use a little TLC. The bathroom door hung up badly in the frame and had not been painted. The hinges were rusty and interior side of the door was dirty. The sink faucet was cracked. There was a Kleenex box mounter in the wall and the chrome cover was rusty.

Upon check in told the wifi was not working. Then in the room TV was not working. Called the office they did send someone to the room but couldn't fix the TV. Suggested a different room. So we moved to a different room TV a lot smaller but it worked. Had to go back to the office to get the keys/chip card exchanged. We asked for a discount on our bill. no luck no discounts. Not okay. The next morning free Continental breakfast waffle maker is broken. imagine that. Enough said.
