Small room, very small bathroom, we stayed in a ground front room and we could not sleep because of the street noise. Very clean and nice decoration. I would stay again in a more quiet and bigger room.

Good staff and location ground floor room not nice

I think we had the smallest room from the hotel, the only one that it does not appear when you look the photos from the hotel. We were expecting a normal size room but it was really small and not pleasant to stay. It was also at the ground floor and right outside of the window was a wooden bench so people were sitting there, talking, making noise, placing and opening their suitcases and at the corner of the building were two cafes and they were closing pretty late and while you try to get some sleep drunk people were making noise. Pretty pricey but it is to be expected in Amsterdam. Positive things: really friendly and helpful staff, location pretty much in the center so you can go easy around by foot and the room was clean with nice interior.

A slice of paradise

This was an amazing stay at Hotel Dwars!! The staff was over the top friendly and helpful with places around the area. Even when we checked out, they offered to hold our luggage in a secure room so we could enjoy the final day and come back later to pick it up!! I will stay here again, no regrets at all!!!!

Fantastic

My mum and I visited the Hotel Dwars for mum's 50th birthday and we had an absolutely fantastic stay. The staff were friendly and helpful from the off; sending directions and offering assistance if necessary. When we arrived the staff had decorated the room for mum's birthday with balloons, banners, confetti and a lovely big bar of chocolate. All staff members were lovely and the location was perfect; close to a tram line but far enough from the city centre for it to be peaceful. The room was clean and had everything you could require. The beds were comfortable and the shower was big and roomy. I would recommend the Hotel Dwars to anybody :)

We had a fabulous stay at the Dwars Hotel. its a quirky unique hotel with an amazing receptionist Teresa who was just brilliant and a pleasure to deal with. we had the lovely surprise of the room being decorated for a birthday surprise and we can fault nothing about our stay. the bar at the end of the road did a fab breakfast and was fun at night.

Good stay overall

Excellent location. Very clean and modern. Staff are very friendly. Really good value for money. Space is small and the room on the ground floor can be loud for light sleepers. We are provided with ear plugs and have used it every night.

Quaint hotel centrally located. Front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and they decorated our room. Room is a good size (especially for Amsterdam) and very clean. Would stay here again.

Amazing birthday stay

Amazing little hotel with real character and individual touches, so much nicer than a big chain name. The birthday decorations were a lovely touch

La decoración de la habitación estupenda. Casa típica del lugar. Personal amable.
