It was good that the property posted the details of the internet on the door as I didn't have any data roaming available, otherwise I wasn't able to access the property. Parking is challenging, but there are passes for use once you enter the property. You are also confronted with lots of rules. Like taking off your shoes, but its to protect the floors on the historic building and slippers are provided. Breakfast was a little on the expensive side as an extra i thought and you pre-order your request. comfortable bed and quiet location, a 15 minute walk to eating establishments, but a little distant from the harbour area.

The Craigmyle was such a charming and whimsical spot! The rooms were comfortable and clean and although the walls were quite thin, neighbors were quiet and respectful. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of interesting spots to check out like Craigdarroch Castle and the nearby Government House. It was about a 30 minute walk from downtown Victoria through an area of town that felt very safe. I would absolutely return to this location on a future visit and I would recommend the Craigmyle for anyone who wants to stay in a more quiet, romantic spot outside of the main city center.

Well appointed interior, very clean. Welcoming seating room, sunny dining area, clean and functional kitchen to store food or cook if one was inclined. Our room was small but bed very comfortable, bathroom clean and redone so very nice. The street was a beautiful residential spot, parking limited but always worked out.
