I stay there often. It is a convenient stop half way up island
Freddy, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Property was clean and staff excellent but the area was uncomfortable with people sleeping on the sidewalk
yvonne, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Clean room, good location. Noisy in morning.

The room was okay. Location is good with several restaurants in walking distance. The negative is that the owner (I think) stood outside our door in the morning talking to another guest for a long time. It was loud and we could hear every word. I had to open the door and tell them to go talk somewhere else.

4/10 Fair

Property is very dated, but clean and friendly staff.

Avelino, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Pros: Bed was comfortable, though we booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, somehow we get only one Queen size, manageable for one night as additional couch was provided in room. Lots of food chains are in walkable distance so it is plus, overall it's good for one night stay in this budget option. Cons: Property is little old, there were some wear and tear issues in my room. Like couch was ripped, sync was broken (though usable), scratched tv screen, little stinky room.
Atul, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Unsafe and dirty
Likun, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The property is very conveniently located, and close to amenities. Ability to walk downtown within 15 minutes, MacDonalds is a short walk for morning coffee and breakfast. I would suggest a bike rack to lock up bikes, as I came to bike areas around the Cowichan Valley, and a secure bike lock up area would have been great, but I made due. Free wifi and parking is a bonus.
Diane, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Staircase leading to second floor rooms has loose treads and is dangerous. Stains in carpet and furniture lead to a bad first impression.
Michael, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Coffee maker was very, very slow. No hot water in sink tap! VERY hard mattress. Room not very sound proof. Due to the neighborhood residents that I saw, I was not confident that my vehicle would be safe in the parking lot!!! I wouldnt recommend this to anybody.
Gillian, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Excellent for the price
Ryan, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Do not recommend

Not what I expected. Only stayed here because the hotel choices in Duncan are limited. They would not give us fresh towels during our three day stay. The room had an odd odor and the tv did not work. I also did not care for the homeless encampment down the street. Worst hotel I've stay in since my university years. The pictures are nicer than the rooms.
3-night trip

6/10 Good

Not good but it's okay.
Sreekaran, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Provided essentials ie. bed, shower, toilet. Area in which the motel is located is a bit rough. Unfortunately addicts hangin out on the block so id be pretty vigilant when walkin out at night. Tons of food options close by though. No functioning diner on site even though the sign outside still says it does lol. But if you’re just lookin for a bed for the night it suffices without feeling super grungy.
Kathleen, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Clean quiet friendly accommodating.
Alana, 3-night trip

Douglas, 1-night trip
