Our room was basic but clean and spacious. The bathroom was tight but the shower was terrific and a hairdryer was provided. The beds were comfortable and we had a great canal view. The location was perfect for us, near the station and on a lively street. The staff was wonderful.

This hotel was great. We did have a canal view and it was a great view right on the canal. This place is just the overall package with the bar being the check in. You cannot really just view the room alone but the entire package. Sammy and the team were great at the bar. It is very convenient to the metro station, red light district and about everything else in the city

Hotel room was one of the most uncharming i have ever seen. Somebody just threw in a random selection of cheap furniture and no other care was given. Same could be said about the breakfast buffet which was of the cheapest quality. Not in any way a reflection of the price for room or breakfast. Staff was nice and helpful.

Having booked an “ economy room” I was very disappointed in it, very small, limited clothes hanging space. Very basic. Shower could have had a glass shower screen rather than a shower curtain. Breakfast “ OK”. Bar area- seating booths all require cleaning. Location fantastic. Staff ok but served lukewarm white wine. Tried to upgrade our room but hotel fully booked so stuck with tiny room. Would not recommend or return to this hotel- it felt more like a hostel.

The location was amazing, right in the city center and close to many restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff at The Old Quarter hotel are very friendly and welcoming. I loved my stay. I was there during the week of the World Cup semi-finals and final, and in the evenings, I had drinks and chatted with many different people at the bar. An amazing experience!
