Overall, very nice place. Truth be told: 6 out of 10. Beautiful location in a "New France" era style hotel...quite the vibe. That said, the primary purpose of a hotel is a place to sleep. The mattress I had in my room had a valley that my body sunk into from wear and tear...and the feel of the springs were inescapable. My girlfriend and I wanted ot have a drink on their gorgeous ocean view deck, and we were told we had to reserve; looking out the window, we saw empty bar table closed off? (i.e., cushions removed from chairs). I'm not trying to be petty hear, rather, I simply want this beautiful hotel to rise up to their reputation.

We had a great view of the St-Laurent river. The staff was great and the food was excellent. We were in the old section of the Manoir. The furnitures were in bad condition, we had a shower/bath tub that seen better days. We had to raise the curtains over the heater to keep the room warm. I recommand you book in the new section of the Manoir.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, pillows not so much, the bathroom although well maintained was very outdated, but the temperature and water pressure was good. The celling light was removed the they just left a hole. And the ventilation was very loud. Nice to have fridge and microwave. The view of the water was nice

We had city view with a bathtub with rust in it, room and bed were clean. No free breakfast was available with stay. Second time there maybe sea view rooms are considered luxury and better cared for. The staff was amazing at the reception area. It was late and he was so accommodating and friendly at 11pm at night. I was tired and a friendly face like his deserves a raise. I will definitely look into Seaview side again.

Clean room but in the new extension where the walls and floors are paper thin. Could hear people talking and walking late at night and early morning. No breakfast included despite my reservation saying it was. Hotels.com was of no help with this and didn't even respond to my emails. The hotel has free electric vehicle charger which was a welcome surprise, though some guests use the stalls as parking spots without charging and without even having an EV because they are closer to the entrance and because the hotel doesn't enforce their parking rules. Restaurant is lackluster. Pretentious menu wording, and food is decent but definitely nothing to race about. Staff was terrible the first night we went. Broke a bottle of wine right next to my wife and didn't even apologize or check if her clothes had been splashed (they had). Our second night , we were unable to eat at St Pancras because they are first come first serve and we were a family of 4. We reverted back to Le Manoir for dinner. We were lucky to get a table on the terrace from which the views were fantastic. Service was much better than the night before. Night and day. Food was no different. Finally the price of the restaurant is crazy for what it is. If you don't get the terrace view, you are wasting money on my opinion.

The location was ideal. The hotel is in the older part of Baie Comeau, near the ferry, steps to the park, an easy drive to the quaint downtown area and has a river view. We stayed in the new building, and our room was spacious, fabulously modern and faced the river, yet we could explore and admire the older parts of the hotel. Equally beautiful. Although our room faced the river, it also faced the patio area for the restaurant and propane tanks, so we kept the blinds down on the 2 expansive windows. The other window faced the parking lot, but we could easily look beyond to the park and water. We would definitely recommend this hotel and absolutely stay here again.
