I recently stayed at the Tentrem and it completely exceeded my expectations. The level of attention to detail throughout the property is truly impressive. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and pampered during my entire stay. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast buffet. It is spectacular! They offer a massive variety of fresh, high-quality options, from local specialties to international favorites. Everything tasted delicious, and the presentation was top-notch.

8/10 Very good

It’s truly a great hotel with super breakfast and a small kids club. The gym is super, one of the best I have ever seen in Asia. One thing to note, there are several mosques in close proximity… as a result you might hear the prayer callings at 4 am in the morning.

They made a few mistakes in the beginning with my room but they made up for them with extra excelent service, shout out to Mr Yanto and mba Belinda at Kayu Manis restaurant and all the staff at the restaurant for treating me and my Mom with smile, kindness and professionalism. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family. Keep the good work 🙏

Nice hotel but room too tired now and desperately need refurbishment. Some weird smell when entered the room. Shower room has faulty part so I used the bath often. Breakfast really nice varieties but taste very average. I expected more from this as one of the reason I booked to stay in this hotel. I would say overall it’s overrated. Gym facilities is fab though!

4/10 Fair

Whilst the property is grand, it feels to be lacking a soul. If you are travelling with a family, you will probably find the children running up and down the bedroom corridors, screaming in the lobby and running between the tables of the cocktail bar on a Saturday night reassuring. The buffet breakfast contained many local choices and was clearly popular with the packed large dining hall, the overflow tables in the corridor and the roped queuing area and the rows of dentist style waiting room chairs for those wanting to eat. Whilst the hotel seemed popular with the many, many people who were there, it wasn't what we were expecting or hoping for. The out of town location was also not helpful for us as tourists in Yogyakarta.

10/10 Exceptional

Beautiful and luxurious hotel with an A+ staff. Room is cleaned every day unless I ask to skip (with a button near the door) but they will come by later for a rescheduling. This way they can restock the free complimentary water and food/fruits. Pool is very nice, breakfast buffet is from 6am to 10am and I do recommend getting it as part of your room - wide selection and most of its pretty good. There is a national anthem at 10am that does play in public areas of the hotel. Staff is helpful and professional with the front desk and those at most front facing positions having strong English speaking skills too. Would go back if I was in Yogya
