It's in a very convenient location next to the train station and the staff was very nice. The rooms and building are run down. Doors are stained with fingerprints, towels have holes in them, lights are broken. It's extremely rundown and not maintained. For a one night place to sleep, fine, but would not recommend for longer.

This is quite an old hotel in need of refurbishment. There were no easily accessible charging points anywhere in the room. The bed was very soft and not particularly comfortable. However, I did get a very good nights sleep in it. There is a very nice restaurant as part of the hotel and the hotel is very convenient right opposite the station. The staff were very friendly and very professional. The room although quite small and not very well soundproofed from the corridor and other rooms, was perfectly adequate for 1 or maybe 2 nights, and was quite competitively priced for Netherlands hotels

Unfortunately a previous occupant had smoked in our family room which meant we did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. The staff did all they could to accommodate us but were booked up so we had to stay in a smoky room. The room itself was large enough for our 4-person family with a spacious bathroom. The complimentary breakfast had everything we needed. Super handy to railway station and a short walk to the town centre.

Comefortable and pleasent stay and an enjoyable 3 day break away from the UK,Hotel is situated just across from the Railway Station and a few minutes away from centre of town ,Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful ,the Hotel is old and dated but comfortable to stay and the breakfast was very good,i would return to stay again if ever in Venlo.

Good price and good memories to me

During last 18 years, whenever I visit at Venlo, always I stay here. So, this hotel is the place that holds good memories for me. The hotel is closed to Venlo station and I can feel a long history with good price. I will be back again when I come back to Venlo.

Located opposite the rail and bus stations and a short walk to the town centre, it's very convenient. The character hotel was very welcoming. The single room was a decent size and comfortable. Only a small pillow was provided ( a huge square one was in wardrobe). Bed was ok and I slept well. Breakfast was a delight with hot and cold fare. Though replenishment wasn't always timely.
