We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Would definitely recommend. Our flight landed at 5:00 am. By 9:00 we were in our room with with a full belly by using the early check in option that comes with breakfast. We enjoyed strolling in the garden/park area across the road and felt safe even at night.

Great place to stay. The area has several restaurants in walking distance and is only a five minute drive downtown. The hotel staff are very friendly. Loved the complimentary breakfast with a variety of delicious and fresh options. Great value. If you don’t rent a car but want to spend a lot of time downtown, you might want to spend the extra money to be downtown but if you have a car, this is perfect.

Modern clean hotel on the outskirts of Reykjavik. Rooms are simple but nicely appointed. Reception open 24 hours and always helpful. Recommend booking a Mountain View otherwise you will be looking over the industrial buildings behind the hotel

Reykjavik Lights was a really nice hotel with a great free breakfast. Service was excellent. Our room was nice, just a little small. The shower was ridiculous and impossible to use without drenching the whole bathroom but everything else was great.
