2/10 Poor

It was under construction, all outside lights were dangling down on exposed wires. Carpet tack strips face up and debris everywhere. My room smelt like mold, the bathroom ceiling was in poor condition. The bathroom light, only one bulb illuminated, had no cover plate over it and flickered when you turned it on. The exhaust fan did not work. The indoor swimming pool unavailable to use. The breakfast was good, but the entire area, & where you would eat was under construction. As a building inspector, I’m not sure how they can do business in the manor. Last night I noticed a Stop Work Order on the front door but the Building Official. No permits, no contract documents, and non-licensed contractors. Everyone I encountered was extremely upset with the conditions. Not anywhere did it tell me the hotel was under construction and practicing unsafe conditions!!! I feel a full refund is due back to me. Worst hotel stay in all my years of travel!
