The Kings Arms is a lovely old pub with wonky beams and floor, but that just adds to the character of the place. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was absolutely scrumptious! The only downside is that it's next to the main street running throught the village, but this was remedied by using a good set of ear plugs at bedtime!

Its an old thatched pub and the room shape and conditions reflect that - sloping floors and wonky walls but the bedding , towels etc were clean and fresh. Rooms are above the bar so not quiet until the pub closes. Pub downstairs is friendly and has a good atmosphere with plenty of choice behind the bar. They serve food but I didn't try any so can't comment on that. Reasonably large attached car park although theres no covered area or anything to chain a motorcycle to.

Parking was good. On arrival my booking had changed, the staff were more than welcoming and accommodating of my needs and could not have been more helpful. Bed comfortable. Dogs allowed which was a bonus to me. Shower in room but only had a curtain as access and no toilet in room. Room had been changed to accommodate other needs so no complaints. Lovely food in the pub.

A great little pub,with great selection of ales. Room was a good size,clean. The staff were very friendly as were the locals to the pub. Food was great also. Just one tiny thing. Maybe a blind in the bathroom as i kept thinking people could look in as was on main road.

This stopover stay was made perfect by the kindness and friendliness of the member of staff who, on learning that I was going to be late, said they would stay behind and wait until I had arrived. They were so polite and hospitable.
