Good hotel, convenient location
We had a good stay at Nasamat Silver Hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is around a 5-minute drive from Masjid Nabawi, and they now offer a shuttle service for all five daily prayers, with transport there and back, which is very convenient.
The staff were friendly and helpful. English communication can be a little difficult, so Google Translate may come in handy. We also found it helpful that some staff speak Bengali.
There are plenty of shops, restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores within walking distance, making the location very practical.
One downside is that the hotel only has two lifts, which can become crowded and busy, especially around shuttle departure and return times. The lifts also felt a little shaky and could probably do with some maintenance.
Another minor issue was that there was no coffee or coffee sachets in the room, and the tea bags were left open rather than individually wrapped, which was a little surprising.
Overall, a good hotel with clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a useful shuttle service to Masjid Nabawi. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would recommend it for anyone visiting Madinah.
