We had a wonderful stay at Luxury on the River in Rome. The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. A special thank you to Luisa, who was an amazing host throughout our stay. She was incredibly helpful, always quick to respond, and provided excellent food recommendations that helped us experience some fantastic local restaurants. Her local knowledge and friendly attitude made our trip even more enjoyable. The location was also very convenient for exploring Rome. I booked this guest house due to its location. It's walkable although not close to Vatican and main Rome tourist areas. so if there is a strike i don't have to rely on public transportation. Luisa was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of good restaurants and a grocery store nearby. I booked a basic room, It was spacious for 2 people. Air conditioning worked well for the first night, then seemed to be weak for the rest of 3 nights but manageable.

Spent 3 nights in Rome at Luxury on the River. Excellent location as a short walk over the bridge brings you to where you want to be in Rome. Walked everywhere and felt safe at all times. A lot of restaurants and cafes in the area. Luisa at reception was helpful, knowledgeable and so kind. Room was quaint, very clean and amenities excellent ( espresso in room first thing in the morning a hit) . Looking forward to a two night stay on our way home!
