I was so disappointed with this Hotel We booked a lovely balcony room with a mountain view The room was nice enough however Bathroom was not sanitized it was Very spacious suite just crazy how everything was extra $$$ pool , extra $$ for lounger and pricey for the adult pool which was nothing like the pictures the pics were from the kiddie pool area completely different area and more $$ to get in there , no in out privileges, pay each time. Pool closes 5:00 and 6:00 so no swim relax after any hikes Both pools were very far from our hotel. Lovely activities but $$$ for everything We asked for bath towels we had to pay extra for those only small hand towels came with the room No cleaning for three days after which you could request we did they didn’t come we had to call again as the garbage was piling up and starting to smell I felt like all they wanted was $$ and could care less whether we had a nice stay Really that bad A real shame as the place could be fantastic! With just a little extra thought put into customer service

We had 5 ppl and stayed in 2 bedroom. Quiet. spacious livingroom. 2 bedrooms - 1 bedroom with bed, the other with traditional korean futon style. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bath room could be more spacious but we were happy. You will need a car to get around.

The Seoraksan area around Del Pino is beautiful, with many hiking and sight-seeing opportunities available. The hotel has a variety of onsite dining and entertaining amenities. Travelers from Western countries may find some of the quirks of Korean luxury hotels surprising, if not off-putting. For example, the hotel room shower is part of the sink area, meaning the bathroom floor is always wet, and the bath towels are the size of American hand-towels. And in fact, rooms don't have the kinds of luxury amenities one might expect for the price. Note, also, that access to the onsite pool and hot tub are not included in the room price.

Staff was very friendly, but there was definitely a language barrier. Also the information about the facilities and property, as well as the restaurant menus are not provided in English. It would be helpful if at least the website could have an English translation option. The hotel is very old and it shows. Rooms were difficult to choose while booking due to all the different types and buildings in the complex. But the biggest disappointment is that you have to pay individual amenities during your stay, including the pool! Which by the way it’s only open until 5 pm, so it was useless anyways if you plan to visit Seoraksan during the day. Also, the restaurants have only set menus, which can be quite expensive, so if you’re not that hungry your only option is the chicken place.
