Stayed here for one night driving the PCH from SF to Seattle. Nice room with a small patio overlooking the ocean, and plenty of space and seating inside the room too. Used the spa on arrival (but no treatments), simple but clean tubs to relax in, and an excellent sauna and steam room too. We had a ground floor room, which perhaps lost a little in views of the sea, but was a great place to sit out, and really easy access to walking and getting out on the rocks and beaches, so it turned out to be the right room for us.

Great stay! Right on the 804 whale-watching trail, rooms with views, fantastic staff, and awesome amenities. Breakfast and spa inclusion was a true surprise, and the breakfast is very good. Aspects of our entire stay felt very intentional on the part of the Overleaf: coffee mug warmers, windows to the ocean everywhere (including from the spa), a solid DVD collection for free borrowing, chairs and benches to view the ocean, a camp fire and guided hike...really cool place.

Our only regret is that we only stayed one night.! It was our most favorite stay in many years. The included breakfast was the best unexpected surprise as well. It was all prepared in house, fresh, hot and delicious. Cannot recommend this place more. Wonderful!

The spa and room were wonderful. Their breakfast game is weak… I’d go into town; there are plenty of good coffee shops. Specifically when you check in, you pick a time slot to arrive at breakfast and I was told the staff ‘can make anything’. I took that to mean a small selection of mix-ins for eggs or something. When you arrive there are overly hard boiled eggs and rubbery bacon eggs. Disappointing for the price point. Not ideal for any vegetarians.

What a fantastic hotel. All rooms have a front row seat to the amazing Pacific Ocean. Rooms are very large and offer comfy chairs for ocean views. There is a pathway that allows you to walk along the edge and get some exercise. Breakfast is included and is served buffet-style (you go up to a counter and tell the servers what you want). It was fabulous and just what we needed, with plenty of savory and sweet options. We did not use the spa, but it's our understanding that a sauna and swimming pool are available at no charge to guests.

While up to this point my husband and have stayed at VRBOs and local vacation rentals in Yachats, the prices each year have continued to rise. We decided to stay in local lodging and were quite impressed! The Overleaf is clean, well-appointed, with a delicious breakfast. All rooms face the Sea. Our room had wall to wall windows, others have patios. The rooms and common areas are super clean with lovely art and photography throughout. Every staff member has been helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our visit so much, we stayed an additional day.
