A really great find. Compared to other hotels around Van this is by far the best. Clean and comfortable rooms, great location, and gym facilities are top notch. Gym does get very busy even at 6am, and parking is very hard to get during busy times. But aside from that, flawless. Ended up extending my stay. Will definitely return.

The check in and out process was fast and easy. The staff at the front desk and elsewhere were very friendly. The room was very clean and perfect for my stay. All guests have access to a lounge on the fourth floor equipped with a coffee machine, beverages, snacks and filtered water. The hotel is located above a beautiful community center and is 30-40 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic. Parking is free. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

Amazing new hotel above a large community recreational complex. Rooms were efficient, well finished and classy. Cleaning was immaculate and the room was quiet with the concrete construction. The rec amenities are endless and Burnaby lake park is nearby if you prefer a walk in a bird sanctuary. I don’t leave many reviews, but these guys deserve praise for a novel concept that works.

The staff were great and the furniture was nice and comfortable. It seems to have been remodeled recently and there's still some details they haven't incorporated in their recent shift. For example, the towels were stiff, the vent closer to the ceiling in the bathroom was dusty, and the toiletries in the shower were old. They did give travel sizes of nice toiletries to use instead, but it seems like thats another detail from their previous life that they left mid transition.

Very nice, super clean, very new. Comfy bed, nice bathroom gestures and lovely complimentary soft drinks and snacks in the shared space. I missed having no tea/coffee facilities in the hotel room. There were no cups/glasses either to be able to drink water. It would be fab to add those things to the rooms with creamers so that you don't need to get dressed to go get a coffee. A full length mirror would also be a great addition. Overall great as very comfy & quiet to relax in!

The room was very clean with many helpful amenities in the bathroom including slippers, and a robe. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was great. The room was quiet and we slept very well. The use of the gym was an unexpected plus. All staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast choices were adequate. The hotel was close to major roadways.

I can give Burnaby 3 stars because I had a clean room with a King Bed and things worked and were delivered as agreed. But beyond that...this is a very strange hotel. It is really just an add-on to a very large Community Rec, Sports and Activities Hub. There are NO restaurants nearby. You drive out of the park area or use Doordash etc. Breakfast is very limited to a just ok parfait, a pretty good chocolate croissant and a prepackaged 'plastic fruit cup'. That's it. The room was clean and had a good King bed. But too many things required thought or effort from the hidden lamp switches to the 'learn to program them wall lights and ceiling fan'. The fridge was on the floor, barely worked and was the smallest I have ever seen. Hotel Burnaby WOULD work for a sports team that wanted to use the massive facility and just bring in a lot of pizzas. It would work for a young and avid athlete who wanted to try several activities and could care less about the room except to sleep. But if you expect a familiar hotel experience, look elsewhere.

Hotel inside a community center and present your room key to community center counter they will give you a key card to enter the gym. On fifth floor there is a function room with coffee machine soft drinks etc. Washroom is full of amenities, two pairs of thick slippers are provided together two bath robes. Two Anker charger outlets are there in case you have several electronic items to charge.

It’s clear that a lot of thought and investment went into the property. However, a couple of major issues made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep during my stay in Room 508: * Bathroom exhaust fan noise: I couldn’t find a switch to turn off the bathroom exhaust fan. If there is one, please let guests know where it is located. The continuous fan noise disrupted my rest throughout the night. * Phone screen lighting up at night: The bedside phone kept lighting up on its own every few minutes overnight. Even when I covered it with a pillow, light leaked from the edges and disturbed my sleep. Additionally, I would suggest opening the windows to ventilate the rooms more frequently between guests. It is obvious the hotel has great ambition and investment behind it, but it also feels like the general manager hasn’t actually spent a night in their own guest rooms. I stayed in Room 508, and I genuinely look forward to seeing these improvements on future visits.

Perfect central location in a region where most hotels are concentrated in downtown Vancouver. You need a car to get around but parking is free and it’s nice to have an option in the centre of Metro Vancouver making it easy to go in all directions - perfect for sightseeing. It is just off the highway which is also so convenient. The room was lovely, spacious, new and clean with mini fridge, TV with huge range of channels, nice toiletries, comfortable bed, even robes and slippers! We also liked the small lounge with coffee tea and some sparkling water and basic snacks. Really no fault - perhaps a full blackout curtain in addition to the window screen to block out the sun.
