The motel manager was helpful as we had a later than expected arrival due to being stuck in a long line of traffic. There was a traffic accident and the road was closed on both directions

Very basic motel, When you just need a place to crash overnight this works fine, but don't expect much. It's kind of like crashing in your bachelor friend's spare room. Pluses: refrigerator and freezer, decent quality TV, satisfactory shower. Minuses: dirty glasses, old AC that didn't keep the room cool. Had to leave the window open all night.

The new owners, who are very kind and friendly, have done a wonderful job with renovating and making this older motel a clean, comfortable, and great place to stay that is still very affordable. They took over the Stampeder Motel which had poor reviews under the previous owners, and re-named this updated place the Stampeder Inn. These new owners take pride in the changes they have made and it shows. They are very responsive if you find anything amiss in the room. For travellers with food, there is a handy, full-sized, well-functioning fridge, and microwave. The bed was very comfortable with good mattresses, and the shower water pressure was great (maybe even too much!). The location is very convenient, even if you do not have a car. Wifi worked well. This a great little motel and I would not hesitate to return. Thank you for a great, affordable stay!

The inside of the rooms are 100% better than the outside. Clearly done some updating but more work to be done. Putting weather stripping in the doors would keep the hot air and bright sunlight out. Decent parking but watch the sinkhole on the exit. Otherwise an average day and a decent price. I’d go back again

I was not happy with this stay and will kit hook here again! There was no hot water, even after running the taps for three or four minutes straight. The building was old and it looks like it was slapped together into a hotel. The floors were completely uneven, and I kept catching my foot on irregular bumps in the floor. Upon entering the front door, it entered into a bedroom, and the light switch was not immediately available. The switch was actually on the far corner of the wall around the bed and difficult to find. Going out of that room into the kitchen area again the light switch was on the very far wall and difficult to find as well as the television was in this area and completely unusable unless you’re sitting at the kitchen table in a kitchen chair against the wall. From there, I went into the second bedroom and again the light switch was extremely hard to find as it was behind the door of the bedroom. The beds were both seems cheap and lumpy, and the frames were extremely cheap, cheapest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Both bedrooms had radiant heaters in them instead of proper heating. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody for that price! I don’t think I would’ve felt good paying $85 for the night for this place!

It is definitely a 2-star, as noted on the property. When I arrived at the room, it was as though someone had been living there and had just walked out before my arrival. There were fake eyelashes on the shower wall, and the shower and bathroom sink were not cleaned. The bathmat had been used and was still on the floor, wet. The kitchen sink was very dirty, with dishes in the drying rack but not clean. I am not a germaphobe by any means, but I had to go to my car to get Lysol wipes to wipe things down. For $160 + $30 pet fee, I don't think I'd try this one again!

If this hotel was a song it would be Papa Roach - LAST RESORT. Ended up in Williams Lake on business. The ABSOLUTE last room available in town according to Expedia. I didn’t believe that was correct. Must have been a system error, so I physically went to several hotels in the city to find a last minute place to stay. Nothing. So I reluctantly booked here. Formerly the Stampeder Motel it’s now called the Stampeder Inn. There’s black vinyl covering the space on the sign where Motel used to appear. Room hadn’t been cleaned. Bed had been slept in. Garbage in the trash can. Used towels in the bathroom. Oh and it sits across the road from the crematorium! This place, according to GOOGLE-is permanently closed! Its crew housing at best. Several guys to a room. Building is ROUGH. Clientele equivalent to the structure. A bob-tail semi truck parallel parked in the narrow driveway. I considered sleeping in my vehicle. Shoulda, coulda, woulda… Place should be bulldozed. Toilet backed up and I had to quickly turn of the water to it before it runeth over… If you’re going to Williams Lake mid-week BOOK ELSEWHERE, well in advance. It’s a busy town. Lesson learned. Stay FAR away amigo
