Location was great to explore all the state parks near by. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate for all tastes. The property is in need of some TLC. Rooms were clean but overall the property looked a bit run down. The small pool area was filthy. Pool was dirty and there was beer caps and bottles on the deck when we went up to use the pool on Friday.

There was construction being done on the upper floor just above our rm that was supposed to stop at a certain time which did not. My husband had to go and tell them to stop pounding . Also the side bed table lights were not working . Breakfast was good. Staff was nice . Parking good . Hotel close to main town and police dept next door.

Small redone 'mom & pop" motel next to a larger historic hotel. They co-share the check-in and breakfast. Breakfast is typical continental, no real protein but they do have the waffle maker, and hard boiled eggs. Good for the price to stay one quick nite. Very clean and newly renovated. Breakfast was ok, not many options. The barn door to the bathroom stuck and wouldn’t close properly which was an issue. There was no shower gel refilled. And we were not told that we would need to ask to have our room serviced, so we were there three nights and didn’t even get our trash cans emptied which for me was the biggest issue and hence the three stars.
