4/10 Fair

First impressions: I am visually impaired and to get to our room the host brought us to a flight of very wide stairs that were extremely poorly lit with dark wood and carpet. I understand that this is a budget hotel, but I did expect there to be a mirror in the bathroom, and a table lamp in the bed room area not just the overhead light that was controlled by one switch at the door. We were a husband and wife that rented the room and were given for the two of us together one towel, one face cloth and one hand towel. We had to look in a hall closet for more towels so both of us could shower after 2 weeks of camping. Host was somewhere cleaning a room. WIFI was only one bar and half the time did not work. The room was very clean, bathroom beautifully done with ceramic/marble? tile. Tiniest sink I have ever seen. Nice shower, coffee machine with one mug, two queen beds on metal frames with casters (one creaked badly and a funny little room about 6'x5' that didn't have a light or anything in it, a drop leaf table and two chairs. Window had a screen and the view was nice of the estuary field behind the hotel. Did not see the resident grizzly

8/10 Very good

This was a very reasonably priced one night stay. The photographs of the motel described the rooms accurately. We knew we were booking something pretty basic and that's what we got. The good points were comfortable beds super clean rooms. Bathrooms were clean and functional and included toiletries. Towels, refresh and looked almost new. You can tell they're working on upgrading the entire building. You can see the modernization touches in the rooms, and the rest of the building is functional, but not modernized. My only complaint was there were no curtains on the bedroom window, and because of no curtains, the outdoor security lights shined in the bedroom and made it difficult to sleep. I did write this down on their feedback form. If they get curtains on the windows, I would definitely stay there again.
