The breakfast offers a wide selection of sweets and Asian hot dishes, but no European-style breakfast options. There is a chef who prepares eggs, but to be honest, all the different types of eggs we tried were tasteless. We ended up having breakfast at nearby cafés instead which is a pity when you’ve paid for the breakfast. Coffee costs extra which we found strange at a 5-star hotel breakfast. It was quite funny when a staff member (seemed like a manager) came over to ask how breakfast was. We replied, “Ah, it’s OK…” obviously not super happy, our food was half eaten, and there were no follow-up questions. She simply walked away, which made it seem like she was only asking because it was part of her script. The entire place is in need of a proper renovation if it is going to be considered a 5-star hotel. The outdoor area is lovely, with a beautiful sunset view. Overall, it’s an OK hotel, but I’m glad we only stayed for two nights. It’s nice enough for a day of relaxation but a bit pricey for the standards. The staff, as in most places in Bali, are super friendly and helpful :)

I’m sorry this is going to be a long review, but if you are considering staying at this hotel, please take the time to read it carefully. The hotel’s location and surroundings are beautiful, and the views of the sea and pool are fantastic. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. In my opinion, this hotel is nowhere near 5-star standard it would struggle to deserve even 3 stars. The staff are generally polite and friendly, but most of them appear to be trainee students, which is reflected in the overall level of service. The rooms are extremely old, poorly maintained, and have an unpleasant smell. I stayed in a suite with a private pool, but the pool was so dirty that I didn’t even dare to use it. The bed was also in terrible condition completely worn out and sagging. If you stay here, be prepared to wake up with back pain. The spa was undergoing renovation during our stay. Unfortunately, the smell of fresh paint and thinner was extremely strong, making it almost impossible to stay inside. We had no choice but to cancel our spa appointment. The main pool is another major disappointment. Despite the beautiful surroundings, it is poorly maintained and dirty. What makes it worse is that the hotel allows outside guests to use the pool for a fee. At one point, a group of around 10–12 men from outside arrived, and the atmosphere suddenly became very uncomfortable and inappropriate for families. Breakfast was average at best. Do yourself a favor and think twice!

Had a wonderful stay, all staff are wonderful, prompt and very friendly. Petri at the front service desk goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, pleasurable and will assist you with all inquiries. The resort is a lovely place even though some things look dated that is to be expected in the tropics, everything is clean, bed was very comfortable, 24hr room service, breakfast available till 11am, late checkout and the massage was sensational. Everything is there. Thank you to all staff for a great first time visit to Bali.

This hotel was very nice, exactly as pictured. The location was great, a quick walk along the beach to the beach clubs, Finn and Atlas. The beach club and restaurant at the hotel, Vue, was also great. The hotel was right on the beach and had beautiful views of the sunset. The staff were very polite and helpful. They were able to arrange transportation for us to and from the airport. We had a great time here.

We had no hot water during our stay. Property is outdated and needs a massive upgrade. Pool area is nice however food wasn’t great and the cabana area is not as good as it was a year ago when we stayed. Good location but needs some attention
