People will probably comment on the surrounding location but I personally enjoyed being so close to walking destinations and night life. Security guard staff were wonderful and gave an extra sense of security when arriving.

My husband and I really enjoyed our short stay although it was for any 1 day we felt very comfortable the guard and staff are very welcoming the hotel is very clean and convenient, we loved our room. The hotel is located to everything. Only issue is parking, but there is parking in the back from a third party company they charge $30 to leave the car 24 hrs. Other than that, highly recommended. We will definitely be going back!

Staff was very kind and attentive. Security was always on duty so we never felt unsafe. The rooms themselves are clean and updated....very modern feel. Location was good and bad....near public transit and so many great eateries! However, it definitely leaves something to be desired in the aesthetics department. Cool old buildings that are well past their glory days...lots of rundown properties and the unfortunate stench of a big city. My biggest complaint, however, was the noise level. The windows are old and single paned (?). They allow ALL the chaotic noise through (Yelling, jack hammers, sirens, horns, etc). If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the street, if possible or bring noise canceling earbuds.

My overall experience is probably 2 stars just because of the customer service; they were 5 stars all day!!! I like the concept and the room is spacious, but it was dirty. The room was dusty, the coffee maker still had some coffee from a previous guest, our sofa had a big, nasty stain, the type that says “ seat at your own risk.” The A/C fan was super loud, but no louder than the people partying on the hotel patio until 3 a.m. My wife and I woke up high; our room had a super strong smell of mariguana, I can only assume someone in the room next door smoked all night. Never again

The hotel was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very spacious and clean! We had a room with a queen bed and also a queen bed in the living area as a bonus we had a office space that we could use to work or just put our clothes away. The biggest drawback at this location is the parking, THERE IS NONE at the property itself but if you are not driving into the DTLA and are using uber it is in a good central location next to a market and plenty places to eat, drink or just hangout. Another plus is that there is onsite 24hour security.

The hotel is in a very central location. However, there are many homeless people in the city, and the streets smell bad. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I experienced internet issues on my floor, and they were unable to resolve them; however, I was able to use the lounge for free instead. The rooms are quite clean and do not have carpeting.

Hotel and Room were very clean. Plenty of space in the room and well maintained. The Hotel had been closed for construction prior to my stay, so there were a few things that needed resetting before taking new guests. The key code for my door did not work. The TV did not work as it needed to be reconnected to the internet, which required the host to come into the room. Also the hot water took about 45min to heat up, and still never got "hot". I had to purge the air out of the water lines first, as it seemed like the water hadn't been run since it was reopened.

Room, kitchen and bathroom were very clean and neat. Very spacious. Staff was really nice and helpful during check-in and check-out. There is no parking with the hotel but there is a parking lot where we parked our car overnight and it is right around the corner. Only issue we had, not sure if it was just our room but, we couldn’t get warm water in the tub or shower. Asides from that everything was great.

This is a great place to stay. It was nice to have security at the front of the hotel watching out for us. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff was fun to chat with over the four days of our stay. This hotel is highly recommended.
