We had a nice stay here. Loved Westport. Easy to walk downtown from the location. Many great options for restaurants and pubs. Room was too hot with no way to control the heat, but were able open the windows to make it comfortable.

Enjoyable stay here, with fabulous breakfasts each day. Cosy breakfast room, allowing everyone to chat to one another with ease. Westport is a fun town to stay / visit. Plenty of shops alongside pubs and bars with great atmospheres.

The Woodside was a very quiet, peaceful place to spend our night in Westport. The owners were very friendly and affected suggestions for the area. The rooms were clean and well appointed, although there was a crack in the bathtub that was a bit disconcerting. The breakfast was top notch and checkout was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this site for a relaxing getaway in Westport.

My hosts were friendly; kept a clean and comfortable guesthouse; served a good, sustaining breakfast. My room had a good bed and satisfying shower. They were flexible with breakfast time to meet the needs of my tour driver. Having no evening transportation other than my feet, I found it to be a bit far out of town, but it is a straight shot from the main business area and ultimately walkable. I would recommend this guesthouse.

Lovely, comfortable lodge. Offering daily change of towels, soaps and housekeeping. Instant-coffee, tea and biscuits along with a kettle were provided in the room. This lodge was not in a convenient location if you wanted an easy walk to shops and restaurants/ pubs. After hiking all day, we were a bit weary to walk the 15-20 min into town and back for an evening meal. Breakfast is not provided so one would have to walk or drive into town. There were no facilities to make your own. A 15-20 min walk would normally not be an issue for us but our time was short.

Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions. Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining. Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one. Overall good value for the money.

The property was stunningly attractive. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. To get to town was a twenty minute walk where all the eateries and shops and bars were. I ended up getting a taxi back on three occasions as it was mostly uphill on the return. Then again I am over seventy years old.

Upon arrival the parking is a bit narrow but definitely manageable. Checking is simple and well communicated by the hotel via email, and WhatsApp. There is no staff to welcome which was known to us so no complaints there. The rooms were cozy and clean when we arrived and good wifi as well. Bathroom was clean and in good condition. Also breakfast was no longer available but again we knew that so it did not bother us. The lodge is a 10-15 minute walk into town with a shop in between that so it's handy and avoids having to drive through Westport which can be a nightmare. Great views as well on the walk to the hotel. Checking out was very simple as well. For the price compared to every other place in Westport this place is a no brainer, it delivers on everything available, a comfy bed, a clean room and bathroom.
