Amazing villa! Wouldn’t have wanted anything more, perfectly located. Only issue was bath is so big, it’s impossible to fill up. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

We lived our experience at Cabana resort. Excellent customer service - the front desk staff are extremely accommodating, close to the main strip (short walk along the beach ~10 min walk), great breakfast selection (all included) and beautiful beach. The whitesand villa is outstanding, very beautiful. Would recommend this hotel 10/10.

Koh Tao Cabana is perfect place to Stay in Koh Tao near Sairee beach. The staff are friendly and always helpful and the beautiful property is tranquil and relaxing. The Rim Lae restaurant has delicious meals and there are plenty more great places to eat a short walk down the beach.

Beautiful surrounding I got a deluxe treetop villa so I had a jungle view with a slight glimpse of the ocean. Woke up to the sound of birds and animals.

Perfect place for our honeymoon

My husband and I honeymooned in Thailand, spending half of our time exploring the mainland and half of our time on the islands in the gulf of Thailand. Our stay at Koh Tao Cabana was a highlight. Our room, an ocean view white sands cabana, was perfect. It was a quick walk to the beach, restaurant, and right by the pool. Quiet and romantic. We didn’t intend to but ended up eating all of our meals at the restaurant. The price was okay (high for Thailand, low low low for home) but the food was excellent, there was a wide range of options- Thai and western cuisine, and the view couldn’t be beat. I went diving with Coral Grand Divers which was a 4 minute walk from the door of our room to the dive shop. It was overall an excellent stay and we absolutely loved our choice to go to quiet and romantic Koh Tao Cabana vs the chaos that is the rest of Koh Tao.

Inaccurate description - would not recommend.

After getting married in Samui the week before, we wanted to stay somewhere nice as a treat. The fact this accommodation is listed as a 4 star is simply not accurate. The resort is dated, photos on booking sites showcase the beach view villa’s which are far more superior. The restaurant service is terribly slow, but the staff are always friendly & helpful. We had dinner there on our first night. I received a starter that looked similar to what I ordered - no sign of my husbands starter. Shortly after, out came two starters, meaning they had given us one by mistake. Later, my main course arrived & we waited 45mins for my husbands duck curry. When they finally bought it out after some chasing, they said “we’ve ran out of duck, so this is pork”. They never asked us if this was okay. Upon check out, the mistaken third starter was actually on our bill and no sign of a promised 10% discount after the mistakes through the night. The pathways are very overgrown - if you’re not fond of wildlife (I actually had a snake drop in-front of my feet - no joke). The resort has so many steps, you’ll be out of breath walking to your room in the heat. The views however, are absolutely incredible and the sunsets are beautiful. The pool towels smell musty, they’re torn & bleached in places. The amenities list a pool & beach bar - which doesn’t seem to exist. The resort is okay, great staff when you can find them. We would’ve rather have stayed in a hut on the beach than spent the money here

I fell in love with the hotel. Its location was perfect, away from the city & night life noise, right on the beach, with delicious breakfast included, and most importantly only three minutes away from the Coral Grand Divers PADI office. The service was amazing. Drinks and snacks were included in the room bar, daily shuttle to and from the city. We forgot one of the backpacks in the shuttle when going to a different island, and they delivered it to us before we started boarding the ferry. I’d give them A+ and def would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Als wir ankamen, fühlten wir uns erst einmal nicht willkommen. Das Hotel hatte, warum auch immer mit unserer Anreise nicht gerechnet und meinten unsere Buchung sei storniert. Obwohl ich 2 Tage vorher das Hotel bat uns am Pier abzuholen. Warum wurde man da noch nicht stutzig?! Als wir am Pier ankamen, standen wir nicht auf der Abholliste des Transfers. Das machte uns schon nervös, da uns das Hotel die Abholung 2 Tage vorher schriftlich bestätigte. Wir mussten 1,5 Stunden (15:30-17 Uhr ca. ) auf unseren Check in warten, bis alles geklärt war und unser Zimmer her gerichtet war- leider lieblos- Bsp. keine Begrüßungsblumen auf dem Bett etc. Ich frage mich, wie so etwas passieren kann. Wir hatten das Hotel im Vorfeld schon 100% bezahlt! Wir kommen an und sind nicht im System hinterlegt?! Die Unterkunft & Einrichtung, das Frühstück und der Service im Restaurant der darauf folgenden Tage machte den 1. schlechten Eindruck zum Glück dann vergessen. Wir würden wieder kommen. Die Poollandschaft & der Strandabschnitt sind traumhaft. Viel Liebe zum Detail, auch bei der Einrichtung der Bungalows. An den Hotspot des Sairee Beach ist man in ca. 10 Min. hin gelaufen.

6月7日～11日まで５日間このホテルに宿泊しました。レセプションスタッフはとても丁寧で良好、ホテルレストランも対応よく、朝夜ともに食事も美味しかったです。モーターバイクもホテルで貸していただいたのでとても有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。トイレもシャワーも清潔です。問題は、部屋によってはとても急坂を上っていかなければならない事です。部屋に何か忘れ物をしたら取りに帰りたくなくなります。足腰に不安のあるかたは止めておいた方がいいかもしれません。また、シーズン次第なのかもしれませんが、蚊がとても多くベッドに備え付けの蚊帳ではとても対応できません、２晩くらい耳元の蚊に悩まされました。また、鍵を閉めて出かけたらルームクリーニングしてくれませんでした、替えのタオル類と飲み物が外においてあっただけです。

Loved it so much we stayed for an extra 5 days ...cant get a better review than that. The place is totally amazing, the food was great...best Margarita on the beach and the staff were just brilliant. My wife and I were celebrating 20 years so wanted something special and we got it..what an amazing place...could quite happiliy have stayed for the rest of our lives

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Koh Tao Cabana Resort. The staff were very professional and helpful before and during our stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the ferry which was great. We stayed in a villa with a deluxe patio which was beautiful and had a great view. The resort was breathtaking and staff were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was included in our stay and the restaurant was such a beautiful way to start our day. We loved the location because it was quiet and peaceful but still an easy walk down the beach to lots of lovely restaurants and bars. The beach at the resort was spectacular. So calm, clean and peaceful. We would highly recommend!

A very hospitable resort. We were given a free shuttle service from the port and then greeted with complimentary refreshments. We were also unaware that breakfast was included so this was a nice touch. Amazing service from the staff and our room was lovely. I’d definitely recommend a sea view cottage. What a great spot to snorkel as well! The resort worked well for us as we did not hire motorbikes and we could easily walk along Sairee beach which has some great spots. It was nice to be able to see our resort tucked away at the top of the beach where you feel a nice distance from the main strip. The only downfall would be that you can hear music from other bars along the beach late into the night, stopping about 2am.

We recently got back from a 6 week trip to Thailand and Cambodia. The Koh Tao Cabana Resort sticks out as the nicest place we stayed in Southern Thailand. The cabanas and surroundings are gorgeous, and the location is perfect. Quiet northern end of the beach but a quick walk to everything.

Wir hatten Cabana 27 - von dort aus hatten wir einen sehr schönen Meerblick. Die Cabana ist zweckmäßig im rustikalen Thai-Stil eingerichtet. Für uns war die Größe völlig ausreichend. Was noch positiv zu erwähnen ist, die Minibar wird täglich kostenfrei mit nicht alkoholischen Getränken und kleinen Snacks gefüllt. Kaffe und Tee ist selbstverständlich auch auf dem Zimmer. Essen im Rim Lae war zwar etwas teurer als draußen aber dafür auch sehr gut. Insgesamt hat das Hotel Optimierungspotenzial (Pool wäre zwar schön, dort könnte man aber durchaus das ein oder andere verbessern). Sehr nett fand ich den kostenlosen Shuttle vom und zum Pier. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb, Roller ist zu empfehlen, man kann es aber auch laufen (entweder über Strand - wenn Ebbe und Flut passt oder über die Straße- aber da geht man schon ein paar Minuten…) War für uns aber kein Problem da wir einen Roller hatten oder im Hotel essen gegangen sind. Für Menschen die schlecht zu Fuß sind, ist das Hotel nicht zu empfehlen. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem guten Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, wie in Thailand üblich.
