Well located and spacious. However, property needs some attention. Noisy and barely cooling AC unit, no toiletries (shower gel/soap, shampoo, very limited toilet paper, etc.), broken light fixtures, and no room cleaning offered on a 4 night stay. Pool looked great in the pictures, but it was closed indefinitely.

This is a fantastic location and amazing price. Also very spacious and clean. Theres no maidservice and no shower toiletries. We thought it was a bed and breakfast but wasn't. There is a roof top bar that plays music until 2am. If you are sensitive to sounds and stay on the 3rd floor, it may be an issue. It wasn't for us. Overall highly recommended

The suite was large, clean and had all that we needed- a little fridge, a few dishes, lots of space to relax - comfy bed, big bathroom, easy access to everything-beaches, shopping, restaurants, the staff were very helpful- just phone thr number provided and they explained where to park. The lot seems a little sketchy but our car was safe and there was never an issue in the time we were there. Lots of people come and go so finding a space wasn’t an issue.

Right in the middle of the center of Lagos. Large rooms with a sofa, refrigerator and some kitchen amenities. The roof terrace is great to relax and enjoy the sun and great views (although the rooftop bar was closed when we were there). The entrance door to the 2nd floor needs to be fixed, as it currently makes a lot of noise when you try to close it.

This is a wonderful little gem of a place right in the very heart of the old town. We "upgraded" to the most expensive room which was still a bargain and were so impressed. The room was large and airy with views of the main square and surrounding streets. It was very clean and well-equipped with 2 sofas, a dining table and huge, soft, comfy bed. The staff was warm and welcoming and even wrote out some of her personal favorite restaurants for us to try out. Even with a bar on the rooftop, the room was quiet and we slept well. Now, all that being said, it is on a main square so you will hear the buskers playing their music and lots of chatter and laughter from the restaurants in the area. It is a bustling part of town but by 10 pm it was very quiet. The location cannot be beat with a 5 minute walk to the beach, lots of local vendors selling their wears. The hotel needs a lick of paint and some fresh flooring in the hallways but I give it 5 stars for value for my money. We spent 2 romantic nights here and loved it.

First - this property is in a great location. The upstairs rooftop lounge area is amazing unfortunately, it is locked most of the time. The price was very good. Safety concerns - no smoke detectors in the rooms and no lighting in the hallway until the 4th day of our stay. Lack of communication regarding check in and check out procedures; and the actual services offered.

Plusses: Great location in the old city section of Lagos, with a rooftop deck and convenient to shops, restuarants, bars, sights and tour excursions. 15 to 20 minute walk from train station. Minuses: Staff are only available onsite for short hours, and they don't necessarily stick to their scheduled open times. Rooms are clean and spacious, but they don't include many extra frills such as body wash, soap or room coffee. The elevator is quite small (for one or two cramped) and eight or more stair steps are still required. Reception is on the rooftop level.

I enjoyed my stay at Inn Seventies. My room/apartment was great, spacious, and perfectly situated for viewing the square/plaza area when I was in my room. The rooms are decorated, but being that the property is obviously old, it somewhat downgrades the ranking in terms of look. However, keep in mind that this property doesnt advertise as a luxury property. I stayed 2 days and enjoyed it. Alexandria was very informative, and nice. I would absolutely stay again. The location was perfect! Close to everything you need in Lagos
