Hôtel Bellevue was a beautiful and quaint old hotel in a perfect location almost in the heart of Ambois. The rear door of the hotel opened onto a beautiful old alley with a view of the Chateau Ambios and only a 100 foot walk into the center of the old town. The street parking was free and easy to get close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accomodating to us. The room was updated and clean. The breakfast was great. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved it here and we will definitely be back the next time we decide to visit the Loire valley Conveniently located, right at the city center which made walking the city center really easy. Great restaurants all around and some small markets were close by too which made the trip really hassle free for us The royal chateaux was right outside our room window so the view was great at night when the castle was lit up

This hotel was such a nice treat during our stay in France. We had double rooms for the family room, the hotel was clean and air conditioned, and the breakfast was lovely. They also offered laundry service. The hotel is also in an excellent location!

10/10 Exceptional

Beautiful hotel idealy situated for the ancient town of Amboise. We had the quadruple room which , with two teenage boys, meant that we had one room that was conveniently separated into two. Really clean, comfortable beds and very pleasant staff. Breakfast was expensive with only under 12s getting a discount and even then not much. Lots of cafes and boulangeries where we got breakfast and lunch for less than the breakfast. Also a little disappointing that the bar was closed but again, by being so close to the town centre it wasn't much of an inconvenience. Would definitely stay again.

We like the proximity of this hotel to the main square and the Royal Chateau. The room and bathroom we had was very spacious. The AC worked really well, but the lift/elevator was not working. Also the carpet in the stairs and hallways are so old/dated. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English well. Breakfast includes a variety of choices.

Great room. Plenty of space , nice tub and shower. Clean with helpful staff. Only thing we would have liked was to have AC on. We cracked the window and were just fine. Great location. Would stay here again.
