Great location for its friendly helpful staff. The rooms have seen better day, dirty and chipped paintwork, dirty curtains and windows. Would not like to walk on the carpets without shoes On the plus side Bed and bathroom were clean. Slept well so can’t really complain for the price

Good location, quiet, no disruptions during the night, plenty of room space, room was clean, tv worked, check in and check out was easy enough. Clean towels and bedding was provided. Kettle / cups / tea bags etc. Bed was uncomfortable, could do with a new mattress or mattress topper as i was aching the morning after. And windows needed a clean outside. Parking was also a struggle.

Great hotel on waterfront. Very helpful staff. Shared bathrooms but otherwise all very modern.

2/10 Poor

The hotel is used by social services and as an asylum seeker refuge with few resident visitors. It is noisy at night ( no one has to get up for work) . Came down for breakfast at 7.30 and NO ONE was around not even on reception. The dining room was closed so no breakfast was available. Posted the room key under the reception door and left !

The room was passable. There is a lot of maintenance work that needs doing in the hotel.

Glad I only stayed one night room was a nice size but had a smell of damp and decor was really poor the other thing was the charges which are not on booking is really bad we got there half an hour before book in and was charged £10 + another £10 for room key which we got the £10 back when leaving I will not be staying there again

We can see from the hotel that the owners have not long took over. the room was clean and had enough room to move about. The windows need another curtain as we had to pin the middle curtain down to block out the light. The bathroom has be updated .but the shower cubicle could do with an extra clean in the corners . The kettle could do with being put higher as I had to get on my knees to brew up lol. And lastly the bed was very comfy but please add a few more pillows as the ones that were there was very flat

I arrived to an unpleasantly suspicious welcome, a demand to see my passport, and to leave a cash deposit of £10 for the key card (waived when I said I didn't have cash on me, and they couldn't take contactless payment). As I had booked online, this sort of information is on my profile. My room had a great view of the seafront through three big windows, and was nice enough for the price. I had a good night's sleep, although I had to use a water flask to pin the blackout curtains against the window as they've ben cut to a length that means the street light floods through at the bottom all night. Also the middle curtain couldn't be moved from the window, so your lovely panoramic view (and any photos you might take of it to show people how nice it was...) is ruined. A small detail but really, the view is the room's big asset, don't mess up the curtains like that! No flat surface in the bathroom for your toothbrush etc, but there is an adjustable heated towel rack so you can warm up the room and dry things off, that's a plus.
