We loved staying at the Maya apartments! It was very clean and just as described online. It was very convenient to get to downtown central and there were many grocery stores nearby. We weren’t able to change the temperature in our room but it was comfortable enough as it was about 24 Celsius. The beds were comfortable and the directions to check in and out were simple and easy to follow. We did have to figure out you had to push* then the code to activate the locks and then it was simple to get in and out! Overall it was a wonderful place to stay with the kitchen and washer available and so handy.

The toilet seat was missing, looked like a recent renovation was not fully finalized. I checked in late and my email after 9 pm was immediately answered and I was given a different room with access codes in the same single email. Super convenient. Also in the new room some minor items were not finalized, everything seemed freshly renovated and will no doubt be finalized shortly. This was my 3rd stay with Maya in Oslo and I will no doubt be coming in the future too.

Make sure you know which MAYA Apartments you’re staying at. There are several throughout the city, and Carl Berners wasn’t the best location. (Rookie mistake…) Size of the apartment was great, and having a balcony was a plus. Loved being able to wash my clothes midway through my trip. Small quibbles: no staff on site makes it difficult if any issues arise; only one floor towel and one bath towel provided; and no television (which you only realize you miss when you don’t have one!).

Fin liten leilighet for en rimelig penge. Godt utstyrt kjøkken med kort vei til butikk og trikk. Brukte litt tid på å finne søppelrommet som er på utsiden av rommet, kunne kanskje vært markert bedre med synlig skilt som vises på avstand. Opplevde at det til tider var litt varmt i leiligheten, men ellers synes jeg i det store og hele at overnattingen fungerte fint for oss.

Appartement très propre et moderne dans un quartier calme d'Oslo, très accessible en voiture mais à une centaine de mètres d'un arrêt de tramway. La chambre est spacieuse, la litterie confortable et l'appartement est tout neuf. Il reste d'ailleurs quelques petits détails à régler au niveau de l'interrupteur de la salle de bain qui ne fonctionne pas correctement ainsi que celui de la hotte aspirante que nous n'avons pas réussi à mettre en route. À part ces 2 petits détails, tout était parfait, nous recommandons vivement cet hôte.
