The accommodation was clean and the location to the town centre was very good. The WiFi on reviews had a score of 10 but we couldn’t access it at all. There was a notice on the window ledge giving the WiFi code and password and that WiFi wasn’t guaranteed. As we had work to do that wasn’t at all ideal and totally unexpected given the reviews. However we had reserved a ‘deluxe room with bay view’ and what we got was a (very) small double with a view to the car park. Despite several communications with the host about our time of arrival, we were not advised that the room we had reserved and paid for in advance was not available. When we contacted the host about the small room with no view, we were informed that was the only room available and were offered £20 discount. Hotels.com followed this up on our behalf but nothing could be done to give us the room we paid for. Very disappointing.

Do not assume there is breakfast - there is not! Very dated decor. The bedding was lovely and the bed comfortable. I have an EV and there are chargers in the car park across the road. My room was dark and looked out on a side extension. Location was perfect.
