The hotel staff was a standout for me as they did what they could to fit whatever I needed like changing rooms, extending a day, ordering a cab to the airport etc. it’s a clean hotel with comfortable beds located very close to the Sultanahmet are where the main attractions in Istanbul were. It’s very easy to go to other locations like Kadikoi and Balat too. Breakfast can be included for a price as is laundry.

There is good and bad. To be fair the place is decent if you look for a basic hotel to sleep. The location is nice. The personel is kind and helpful but the rooms in themselves are a bit old and not completely clean. The bedding and towels could be renewed and they smelled like bleach so if you are sensitive to that take it into consideration. But the owner was very kind and heard our complaints.

We stayed for 10 days. Even though the hotel is in the old historical district, it is a recent building, well maintained. Staff was eager to help with anything; we arrived at 2am but the night clerk was ready to welcome us. Their breakfast is not included in the room fee but worth it. Lots to choose from for 8 euros, which compares favourably to any nearby restaurant. Bathroom is small but with marble floor and walls, everything works well. Note: The mini fridge works best when the cupboard door that encloses it is left open.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned and tied up everyday . The triple room we got was spacious enough for the 3 of us and our suitcases . Everything was pretty much a walking distance: restaurants, hagia sophia , and the blue mosque. And if you like walking you can even walk to the Egyptian bazaar , grand bazaar and laleli . Highly recommend staying at this Hotel !! 💕
