This is an exceptional hotel in Ninh Binh. Our room was beautiful and the bed so comfortable. The bathroom had a beautiful bath tub and power shower. What makes this hotel is the staff starting with the concierge who organised our trip for us, he is a credit to the hotel who could work in the top hotels in Mayfair, London where I’m from. Our check in and out was seamless and when we left for Hanoi we had an amazing send off by the staff. Thank you so much Legend Hotel, will be back next year for a longer stay. Best wishes to you all. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean. The shower plate from the rain shower and also the hand shower absolutely need to be cleaned, because hardly any water can get through. Breakfast is good, but the You have to pay for the cappuccino for breakfast very annoying because the coffee from the pot does not taste good. It is also not clear that you have to pay for the refrigerated water. The seat cushions in the Skybar are sometimes very dirty.

Infinity pool was only available to swim at 4:00pm which was kind of a bummer. But there were 2 other pools in the next building with option of closed or open. Walkable to the busy streets of Ninh Binh with food, shopping and other stores.

Fantastic stay over Tet.

The hotel was great. Room was large, bed comfortable. The staff was super friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was great qnd we enjoyed dinner as well. We stayed here shortly before and during Tet, so was odd in that it was like us qnd maybe two other families our first night. The restaurant was open during Tey which was a blessing as almost nothing in town was. Really glad we stayed here

The property was great - definitely one of the nicer ones in the area. We struggled with planning custom itineraries with the staff since none of the pre-planned tours fit the locations we wanted to go to. We had hope that the hotel could help us organise drivers to and from locations, but they couldn't help with that. The amenities of the hotel was nice since it had multiple pools. We just wished we had stayed a bit longer so we could take advantage of them all.

Our hotel experience didn’t start off great. After 9 hours of travel, we arrived really excited,mainly because we had booked this resort for the rooftop pool. Unfortunately, we were told on arrival that the pool would be closed for 10 days, which was a big disappointment, especially considering the price we paid. It would have been helpful if this had been clearly stated on Expedia beforehand. When we first entered our room, it was quite unpleasant. There was a strong damp smell, and the bed and chair were actually wet to sit on. The bathroom was also dirty and smelled bad. I contacted reception right away, and to their credit, they handled it well,meeting us downstairs and moving us to a room in another building, which was much better. The location isn’t ideal as it’s quite far from most things, but we rented a scooter for 250, which made getting around easier. Despite the rocky start, the hotel staff were absolutely amazing,from reception to the servers and cleaning team. They really made a difference to our stay. The breakfast buffet was average,not the best we’ve had, but not the worst either. I did contact Expedia and received a small credit, which didn’t feel entirely fair given the situation with the pool. However, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite, which was fantastic and greatly appreciated. A special mention to Linh (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly) he was incredible. It honestly felt like he never stopped working and always went above and beyond. Thank you

3 star by Western Standards

The hotel looks nice and modern from the outside and is attached to a convention centre. Positives are the rooftop pool and bar is amazing, room is very large, bed is 6ft and very comfortable and shower is very powerful with hot water and bathroom is a nice size. Staff are excellent and engaging but only a few can converse in English. Negatives are the breakfast food is below average [food is generally excellent in Vietnam so the bar is set high] with only basic vietnamise coffee on offer and lattes, americanos are a supplimental charge [which is super expensive by vietnam standards], hotel shows signs of neglect, WiFI keeps dropping out, rooms are dated and the hotel is a 3 star by western standards. Probably the worst thing is the location which is in the middle of nowhere in a industrial area/building site with very limited facilities other than a nightclub. Do not stay here if you want to enjoy Ninh Binh.

Excellent place to stay. We travelled in a group of 4. We LOVE this hotel. From the room to the facilities to the breakfast buffet…everything was top notch. We will definitely come back here.
