Perfect location - couldn't have been closer to the water. Weather cooperated and we had a great stay. Only about 25 minutes to Watkins Glen and surrounded by lots of breweries and wineries so there is plenty to do...and drink! Come visit and enjoy!

Location is perfect. Unfortunately, we arrived on Wednesday and the restaurant was closed until Thursday when we left. Aside from that the rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly.

The lake view was beautiful, the room was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure (that’s a big deal for me)! It was quiet and there were very few people staying there. It was so relaxing. We will definitely stay again.

I didn't interact with any staff since it was contactless. I didn't use any amenities or see what was available, as I was only there for one night. The room was clean and nice view of the lakes.

It was great that they made sure each guest that was staying at the motel had a parking spot! The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the restaurant always serves great food!

We really liked being right on the lake, just wished maintenance or property maintenance would have swept cobb/spider web off the front door and balcony prior to our arrival.

Room was pretty basic...no suitcase rack, no tissues, only one set of towels for each guest, no security peephole in door, a tiny ice tray in the freezer, no clock/clock radio, curtains could not be closed all the way because they would block the heater -- shades that block the window, not the heater, could have allowed us to sleep later. Coffee would have been nice, even though there was no breakfast service. Would think twice about booking here again -- especially because of the price.

Clean room, beautiful view. Check in was weird. I guess you get an email with a link to check in. I didn't get the email. I'm not sure if it was because I booked it through a third-party site so it was a pita. They should get some linens that actually fit the mattress and pillows. Could also use pillows protectors. I'd actually give the place 4.5, but you can't do that.

The most comfortable beds ever. Nice location and peaceful outlook onto lake. The hot water did go out but it was resolved by staff. Things happen and it didn't change the way I would rate. We had a great time here. The keyless entry was very appreciated. There was always a staff member around if needed on site.

Stayed in Oct, right before they shut down for the season. So the pool was closed and kind of a slow time for the restaurant. Still the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. Not many other amenities, the vending machines were broken and other dining/food is pretty far away. They didnt tidy my room each day of the stay, which is fine but somewhat surprising. The only hiccup is that I booked thru hotels . com and thier system doesnt really integrate well. They had my reservation, but i was supposed to get an email/text with check in instructions but i never got it. I had to wait for 15 mins while they tried to get me my check in details. Overall, minor stuff but I would stay again.

The view from the balcony of our lakefront room was lovely. Unfortunately the balcony had not been cleaned - a few pieces of trash but the a/c unit about 6” from the chairs were covered in bugs. Hard to keep it clean with the nearby water but this was there when we arrived. The room was recently renovated and was lovely. We liked the location and had a great time in the area. We ate at the restaurant the last evening and enjoyed our food.

So disappointing for our anniversary! The room was filthy, and it smelled like mold! We absolutely froze! We had turned the heat on, but still had to utilize the hot water from the shower, and the microwave in the room to warm it up! Definitely not worth what we paid!

Arriving at the Showboat Hotel our room was not acceptably clean. The floor was sticky and covered with dirt, mini fridge had mold, and the balcony had dirt/bird droppings that was clearly not kept up with. I called the hotel desk which is not in on the weekends, after speaking with hospitality we were sent a housekeeper. The only productive thing accomplished was that our fridge was switched out for a clean one. The employee “mopped,” resulting in the same floor dirt being pushed around. We swept off the outside balcony/bird droppings and wiped the floor again ourselves. The balcony view was enjoyable, bedding and towels fresh, room was recently remodeled. It is obvious the staff is not thoroughly taking care of rooms between guests beyond the bare minimum. Management was not accessible over the weekend. When checking in ourselves, we stopped at the office to inquire. An employee (same housekeeper) showed us our room code on a list with current room codes for every guest. Extremely unprofessional from a safety perspective. The staff provided on-site was not thorough or overly professional. Overall, unimpressed with a hotel providing supposed-3 star amenities.
