This is a perfect place to stay if you want a genuine cowboy living experience. I stayed in the lodge and the room was clean and bed was comfortable. There are other options to stay the night in also. Teepees or chuck wagons with community shower and bathroom. They do have horses there so “nose” beware. Beautiful views of the Tetons!

The location for visiting the Teton’s can’t be beat! The staff were very nice and helpful. The cabin we stayed in (Tree Room) had a horrible smell when we used the shower. The cabin is in need of repairs, but is a great step up from camping.

Close to grand Tetons. The room was reasonable.. though the walls were thin. The restaurant was fried bar food. The view of the Tetons was spectacular.

The room was clean and looked like the pictures. We were disappointed because it was very hot and they do not have air conditioning, a fan would have helped. There is not TV in the room and the one in the lobby was not working. The view was great, the staff was nice.

We found out that you can check as early as 3:00 pm or later each day. You do not have to wait until 5 PM as Hotels.com says. Also, we loved the ranch atmosphere and the beautiful scenery, but know that this is very rustic. There is no kitchen nor appliances in the cabins, and no coffee maker. The on-site restaurant is great. This is true ranch living, and we thought it was worth it.

4/10 Fair

Very old motor inn - not maintained well - rotting wood on exterior, rust in sink and tub, an old beer can left on the window sill - could see under the door to the outside - heated with two portable heaters - beds were unique (built from aspen) and comfortable - resturant was terrible - no help, unsanitary, disorganized - but nothing around for miles and miles. The high charge for the room (over $400) was a ripoff. I've never rated a place poorly, not my style, but this was so very, very disappointing.

4/10 Fair

The view was the best thing at the property. We had a "lodge room". It was one large room, built in what at one time was the attic of this building. It had a couple of weird doors, no closet, no chest of drawers, no luggage caddy, basically nothing to put your suitcase on except the bed, then you had to put it on the dirty floor at night. The couch bed was broken, it was missing springs. The floors were dirty, the shower was dirty, the bathroom sink was dirty, all the linens were well worn and stained. There were shower curtain liners for window treatments over the windows on the French doors. There was no AC, when we checked in, the room was probably in the high 80's, they did give us a dirty shop fan from the maintenance shop. We had to go to the office to get more toilet paper, they do not service the rooms while you are there. The cafe is very low rated for a reason. I would not recommend this place to stay, there are other places on the same road in that valley that costs more, but would be worth it considering the shape of this property. One other note to mention, they start emailing about a week before you are there pitching their horse rides, chuckwagon meals etc. If their guest had a good room experience then they would buy these other products, We did most of the things on their activity list, we just did them at other places, and paid more than what we paid for the room. We left early and came back late every day to stay out of the room as much as possible.
