The view was the best thing at the property. We had a "lodge room". It was one large room, built in what at one time was the attic of this building. It had a couple of weird doors, no closet, no chest of drawers, no luggage caddy, basically nothing to put your suitcase on except the bed, then you had to put it on the dirty floor at night. The couch bed was broken, it was missing springs. The floors were dirty, the shower was dirty, the bathroom sink was dirty, all the linens were well worn and stained. There were shower curtain liners for window treatments over the windows on the French doors. There was no AC, when we checked in, the room was probably in the high 80's, they did give us a dirty shop fan from the maintenance shop. We had to go to the office to get more toilet paper, they do not service the rooms while you are there. The cafe is very low rated for a reason. I would not recommend this place to stay, there are other places on the same road in that valley that costs more, but would be worth it considering the shape of this property. One other note to mention, they start emailing about a week before you are there pitching their horse rides, chuckwagon meals etc. If their guest had a good room experience then they would buy these other products, We did most of the things on their activity list, we just did them at other places, and paid more than what we paid for the room. We left early and came back late every day to stay out of the room as much as possible.
