Pleasant and quiet stay in a comfortable room

Very quiet and peaceful place. Well appointed room. Breakfast verged on a simpler buffet type. Building is on the hill top and in the 1700s or 1800s served as Gotland’s archive. Lovely view of harbour from our bedroom. Well located just a 10-minute walk into the heart of Visby.

building itself was very old and that create some minor issues, e.g. main door stairs were a bit worned out etc. However, nice small hotel + location was great - very easy to access downtown + easy to get out from the town (buy car). Breakfast Ok, also for food restriction one's. No complains for room service/cleaning

We thoroughly enjoyed this little manor house. Loved the floor heating in the bathroom and the beautiful ancient windows. Absolute best was their breakfast, by far the BEST breakfast I ever had at any hotel around the world. The only thing that was a bit unusual, we booked the deluxe room and were expecting a sitting area, but only got one chair and a stool at a tiny desk. It did not look like the picture n the internet. It only bugged me on the one day we had rain and hung out in the room for a bit. Walkable to town without being in the midst of party area at night. Quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. Loved this experience.

This is a typically wonderful Scandic hotel with excellent service, great beds, and decadent breakfasts and is right across the road from the Central Train Station. It also has a good, though oddly painted dark, gym. The outside is safe but a lot of smokers and drunks hang out there.

Vänligt bemötande. Trappor till entrén som kan vara svårt att ta sig upp för. Parkeringen bakom huset kostade 180 kr för ett dygn. Vi hade ett superior dubbelrum i etage. En brant trappa upp till sängar och bubbelbad, en grind skulle behövas vid trappan. Saknade en duschmatta för golvet blev vansinnigt halt. Bubbelfunktionen i badkaret var svår att få igång. En instruktion skulle kunna finnas. Saknade tofflor. I minibaren fanns det endast 2 flaskor vatten. Frukosten var god och riklig. Mycket trevlig frukostvärdinna. Ingen i receptionen kvällstid, det finns ett telefonnummer att ringa. Läget är mycket bra, nära till restauranger dock väldigt backigt. Sammanfattningsvis ett mysigt dygn och vi kan med glädje rekommendera detta hotell som också hade mycket sköna sängar. Tack så mycket!

Väldigt mysigt rum med stora öppna fönster med utsikt över gatan. Tyvärr fanns det bara tjocka mörkläggningsgardiner att dra för, men tomma gardinskenor bakom dessa, så kanske gardiner med ljusgenomsläpp är något som är på g. Ett stort plus för den fantastiska frukosten. Galet goda kvargvåfflor som jag gärna kommer tillbaka för.
