The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, but as it was not carpeted it was quite noisy. The walls were thin and when other guests arrived and left the big industrial style doors made a lot of noise. Reception staff except a gentleman with glasses were not interested in who came into the hotel to the extent that a lady did not even bother looking up from her phone. The location of the hotel was perfect. Easy to get to from the station and to get to the historic centre.

Stained carpets, grubby paintwork, broken lift, threadbare towels, I’ve stayed in youth hotels that were nicer (and cheaper) than this. The complimentary earplugs were a sign of things to come; the bars outside proved a noisy stay. The best thing about our overnight was the breakfast from the adjacent cafe, and then checking out.

Good sized room, comfy huge bed, coffee pod machine in an excellent location. I was checked in by the most incredibly helpful employee who went the extra mile (literally) to make my stay easier and more comfortable - helping with luggage and generally showing a really strong concern for customer care (for the record I'm a 50+ female, I don't mean this to sound creepy!)

The hotel is well located with all the cities amenities in walking distance, but it is not too busy and noisy outside the hotel. There is also a big carpark next to the hotel with free motorcycle parking. Optional door key on the phone is handy and worked well. My room was big and, although basic, had everything I needed. I would definitely return if I was staying in Antwerp.

The staff was absent most of the time so we left a note on their desk about the broken coffee maker. Not sure if anybody read the note but the coffee maker was not fixed/replaced during our stay. We had one bag of tea but plenty of coffee pods. Otherwise OK, central located. Breakfast expensive but good at the next door breakfast place.

The room was quite small with paper thin walls, could hear the neighbors and was on the same level as a parking lot so people were loud out there too.
