all staffs including receptionist, concierges and service attendants are so nice and friendly, room is clean, Hotel is close to all amenities, restaurants are across the street, three Big Shopping malls are 200 meters away, subway station is 300 meters away. The room was nice and spacious. The washing machine & dryer was extremely handy. The place while clean showed its age. The place was near metro (Tiyu Xilu station and Shipaiqiao station) and there were 3 major shopping malls close by (Grandview, PARC Central and One Link). The breakfast was okay and be monotonous if you have it 5 days in a row.

Excellent hotel on the eastern edge of the Tianhe shopping district, with many big shopping malls and dining options within just a few minutes' walk. The hotel itself is very well equipped, nicely maintained and extremely comfortable. We found the beds particularly comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. Desk staff were polite, helpful and spoke decent English, which is not always the case in China. I would certainly stay at Oakwood Premier again when visiting Guangzhou.
