The Malvern is a hotel run around a health club and spa. The best feature is its restaurant which is modern and serves good food. The spa itself has a nice and warm indoor / outdoor pool but the facilities are dated and tired. The rooms are very tired, think 1970’s travelodge, and in desperate need of an upgrade. Staff pleasant.

Room was okay, but the curtains had lots of stains on and the TV was very small. Bathroom toilet seat was also stained with urine. Cooked breakfast was great with a good variety of choices. The buffet looked lovely but needed to be covered as there were flies all over it. Lovely lounge area and pool. Cocktails were expensive 2 for £22 and that was a special offer! Very busy hotel. Pool area was packed and all the loungers occupied. I prefer something a bit quieter personally, but okay if you don't mind it being busy. Was offered flip flops at check in which I accepted, unfortunately they were used, so I didn't wear them.

Ok experience. Expected more to be honest. Parts of spa need much needed maintenance…. and breakfast….. meats/yoghurts left out on an ambient table (not chilled) for entirety of service. Within guidelines, but does not ensure best quality. Went to spa, Stayed overnight, had breakfast and then went to spa again in morning (approx 8am). Bins not emptied from previous day, flavoured waters not filled up from previous day and general cleanliness of spa facilities not the best. Positive note: Evening meal very nice Probably wouldn’t return if I’m being completely honest.
