We stayed here for one night as a couple, and for the price, it was a good option. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, but the hotel feels a bit old and outdated. We did find a cockroach in our room, which was disappointing. I also think replacing the carpet with hard flooring would make the rooms feel much more hygienic. Overall, it was fine for a short stay and offered decent value for the money.

Right by the freeway, gas station in walking distance, quiet and 20 minutes from downtown, nothing fancy but great option if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room for a fair price, I would stay again next time.

MY STAY AT THE HILLTOP INN

I had been in the middle of relocating and unfortunately recuperating from a stay in the hospital. This staff made me feel welcome, safe, and gave me all the assistance i could have hoped for. This hotel is run professionally, clean, and within reason, provides everything you might need.

Don't book your stay just looking at the name, its worst, and its not for family people, the staff old lady was very rude and she do not know how to behave with the customer. she wanted to see the original passport of my parents and she was not accepting the soft copy or photocopy of the passport, am not sure why she wanted to check the passport? she said, they changed their rules and policy. when I asked to show the policy she said she will call 911. I booked my stay through Expedia so she asked to call Expedia but she wont allow my old age parents without the original passport and she was not ready to share her Property Manager contact number. she was very rude and she was acting like she was the owner. In one word, this place is not for the family people. because I saw very low level people walking half naked and body full of tattoos. Expedia should keep this Motels in their black list.

You will have an additional hold put on your card for a security deposit, its returned after you check out witj no damages, but it wasnt anywhere on expedia while booking so i just wanted to share. The staff were so kind and helpful. The place is a little outdted and could use some maintenance, but for the price it was a good stay. Also very clean, they might not update peeling paint but the place was spotless clean.

Motel is a barebones and rough around the edges option for a very very low rate. That being said, the staff make the experience very inviting and try to accomdate you as much as possible. My situation required me to have a microwave and fridge in my room (pre-reserved). Upon showing up, a room wasnt ready with those ameneties, but the staff kindly upgraded the room to a full California King Suite to accomdate my needs with no additional charge. For a cheap lower end room reservation, I would book a room here again. Property has free self parking and morning coffee in the lobby.

Rooms were not clean. Check in was difficult because the door was locked and we had to wait outside in the cold till the lady heard us and opened the door. She was not very welcoming. The staff at the checkout time were nice though.

I’d never book that again.

The room was super dirty. Luckily I had cleaning supplies in my car. I wiped down counters and it was filthy. Billy’s of food stuck to the walls. And it smelled bad. Bed sheets were clean…
