We stayed at this hotel for 13 days and will be going back again. The staff was kind. Everyone spoke English which was very helpful. The hotel is clean and conveniently located if you just want to walk to the Moomin Museum or Stockmann. We will be back!

Good value, but..

The hotel had all the potential for a very good stay. The hotel was very clean and our room was nice. Breakfast was also good. However, our room was left to very warm settings by previous users and it was too hot to sleep in as it took time to cool down. Also, the air ventilation makes cycles so every 5 minutes there is noise when it starts which makes it hard to fall asleep.

The location would be very good but there are MAJOR roadworks happening which is why the price was probably lower than usual. Not the hotels fault of course but it did have an impact. The biggest disappointment was walking into the bathroom and finding pieces of toilet roll attached to the toilet brush. It was the first thing I noticed so that was quite bad. Also the heating system in the room made a ticking noise on and off. The room itself is bright and nicely decorated and a great size. Breakfast is excellent as always and I can’t fault the staff as they are super friendly and kind.

Jag bodde 2 nätter på Scandic Tampere Station. Hotellet ligger centralt nära tågstationen. Rummet var större än jag hade hade förväntat mig. Det fanns två separata sängar vilket var onödigt för en ensamresenär, jag vet inte om det finns enkelrum. Jag kunde reglera sängen, höja till sittande ställning när jag tittade på tv. Frukosten var bra, den är tydligen likadan i alla Scandic hotell. Jag kan tänka mig att bo igen på Scandic Tampere Station.
