New management clearly cares about the property and the renovated rooms are pretty nice. The staff were very friendly, and the room was very clean! There were some nice touches like complimentary toothbrushes, etc. I recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a budget stay in the area!

Room was very clean, had microwave and refrigerator, staff was very friendly and helpful. Outside property is average, but safe. Would go again.

10/10 Exceptional

Inexpensive and worked with me to allow me to check in early. They are renovating so it's not pristine but walkways and room was clean and comfortable.

clean room, was quiet close to road to freeway.

8/10 Very good

Way better than when it was a chain which didn’t leave the light on anymore. New owners are upgrading property one section at a time, so limited rooms, but progressing, including re-opening pool any day now!
Verified review

2/10 Poor

Room was clean and friendly staff... however found huge number of mouse droppings over multiple of the tables in the room overnight. This is potentially very dangerous due to disease and needs to be fixed immediately.

There isnt a whole lot in the area in regards to places to stay. This place felt safe, it was quiet, the staff was friendly, and let us check out late. No complaints.

Clearly going thru a major remodel, but it was quiet, affordable, clean, comfortable and just what we needed.

It was nice, clean. But the toilet wouldn’t flush, I needed to go to bed early and leave early so no time to let management know.

6/10 Good

This hotel offers good value for the money, especially considering its affordable rates. The amenities were functional and met basic needs, though they were not particularly impressive or modern. The stay was comfortable enough for the price, and everything worked as expected. Overall, it was an average experience—reasonable for budget-conscious travelers looking for a decent place to stay.

10/10 Exceptional

This Motel is under new management. It is obvious that the prior owners let the motel go. The new management is working hard to renovate and clean up the motel, the rooms and the pool. The motel workers seemed very hard working. I had an issue with my suitcase and MH one of the motel clerks helped me immensely. He was thoughtful and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and in Weed very much.

I have stayed here twice before when it was still the motel 6. The people who have bought it and changed it to the Shasta Vista Inn, have done multiple upgrades including adding air conditioning which the motel did not have in their rooms. Friendly staff, helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

4/10 Fair

Many problems with this motel. Here are some examples: grounds and buildings in disrepair; no phone in the room; bed cover had cigarette burn whole; TV was too small!!
Verified review

8/10 Very good

For what you pay at this hotel it’s not bad. It’s an old motel 6 (I think) but it’s in good shape

For the price is a great option. Me and my family stayed in one room next to some bikers. I thought I was going to be able to hear them snore but to my surprise it was really quiet and we got a good sleep.
