My stay at the Green Turtle Lodge exceeded my expectations. The host, Willem, was very responsive via WhatsApp, always quick to answer any questions. During check in he offered great suggestions on places to visit, which really helped us make the most of our time on the island. The apartment truly felt like a home away from home. As a family traveling with two teenagers, I especially appreciated having the ability to prepare our own meals and do laundry. These conveniences made our stay much more comfortable and also helped us save money. The accommodation was conveniently located, with Jan Thiel Beach about 10 minutes away and Mambo Beach also within easy reach. There was a small minimart less than five minutes away, which was very convenient for picking up essentials. I would definitely recommend renting a car to get the most out of the island and explore all that the island has to offer. Overall, we had a great stay at Green Turtle Lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. One thing to be aware of is that electricity is included up to 15 kWh per day, with an additional charge for usage above that. It’s something to keep in mind when planning your budget, especially when traveling with a family.
