Olga went above and beyond to help us out from our late check-in to recommendations around the lake and also made me the best espresso I’ve ever had in Italy. Hotel is in a good location in Colico, not far from the train station and just a short walk to the harbour area with most of the restaurants. Also a great selection of food at breakfast

The breakfast was not bad, and the young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel however was nothing like a 4 star hotel should look like - it is barely 3 stars on a good day. The economy room was damp and had a weird smell, and came with a completely broken bed frame. We were given a premium room instead on a top floor which was better, but still had horrible mold in the shower and clean towels came with disgusting clumps of hair in them. There is no parking at the hotel either despite what the description says. Do not recommend.

Not enough toilet paper was given. They have small rolls. There is not a lot of options for restaurants. I would say to stay at a hotel that is closer to the main center. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was not clean. There was hair on the hose of the water spray attachment and hair on the floor. Very small room and bathroom.

Room smelled of mildew

We had an economy room on the first floor and it was damp and smelled like mildew. The scent in itself was a huge drawback for me, it didn’t feel fresh at all. A rather plain room which was otherwise okay, I suppose although not cozy. The location is central but Colico is small so I imagine most places are quite close to the square and restaurants. What saves the hotel from a one star from me was that the breakfast was surprisingly big for Italy. Although the warm food (bacon, eggs etc) were pretty cold. Staff was friendly. If I had booked more than two rooms I would have gone through the trouble of asking for another room, although the hotel seemed to be fairly booked.

Location great, staff great, breakfast good. Rooms not very clean. We had a loft room with a symbolic balcony and no view. Bathroom was clean but needs a deepclean, full of green growth in shower. Tons of spiderweb in the ceiling in the room. If you are grossed out of this, this is not s place for you. But good value for money otherwise.

Lovely Quaint Hotel Close to Lake

The staff was amazing giving helpful hints on where to go, the room was large for our family of 5 and very comfortable. A "peek-a-boo lake view was a nice treat. A great location. Parking was on the street, we got lucky just around the corner. Delicious huge Breakast.

Very friendly and attentive staff but that's about it. The mattress on our bed felt like it was just springs. We asked to move rooms for a better bed but were told all the beds are the same. The room itself was very tired looking and in need of updating and had an odd smell. The bathroom was clean but the shower frequently ran out of hot water and failed to drain fast enough so had to frequently turn off to stop from overflowing. The breakfast was basic but not amazing quality with a bad tasting vat of instant coffee on hand. Cappuccinos could be made on request which was a saving grace. The location of the hotel was perfect it's just a shame it's been left to deteriorate, it could be great with some updates.
