I had to extend my stay for a few hours on the day of checkout. The staff were happy to make the adjustment without an additional charge. The room was very clean and there were many options for breakfast. I would recommend staying at the Marriott Ottawa East.

We have stayed here several times, it’s convenient for family visits, it’s a good hotel, comfortable bed, parking is decent, nothing has ever gone wrong for us here. It’s not luxury, but it’s a good place to stay for business or family visits. My wife has worked in the rooms easily when she needs to.

We didn’t really need help from staff but front desk was nice. Checking in and out was easy. We utilized the pool! My husband enjoyed the gym. It was very clean. The room was a good size. We were right by the elevators and we could hear other people going in and out there but it wasn’t so bad (we have young kids). We didn’t get breakfast or order any food though.

À lot of wait for the elevators in general. Room is great. Pool and hot tub was not too busy but the gym a bit more. The hotel restaurant and bar was really good

Good: - Very kind, nice cleaning staff - Good location - Bed stiffness was perfect for me - Cleanliness was perfect Bad: - Leaky faucet at the bathtub (i.e. I pulled the pin to change the water flow from the facuet to the shower, but about half of the water kept leaking through faucet, having weak water flow from the showerhead). - Unfriendly front desk - No free water / extremely expensive bottled drinks / front desk don't even know how much the drinks, no price tag etc.
