Great property. Staff was amazing the the hospitality was unmatched. The room is spacious and very clean. The ambience was very relaxing. This is away from all the chaos. It’s great for kids. The staff were lovely and always made us feel welcome. Great pool bar with cocktails, cold beer and great food. Great pool for all of us and the view back to oia, Fira and the volcanoe was pretty special. Breakfast was awesome. I feel incredibly relaxed after staying here.

Lovely staff, accommodation and beautiful sunsets

My daughter and I really enjoyed our short break at the Kalastesia Suites. The accommodation was really nice - we had a Comfort Suite and it was perfect for the two of us. We loved our little balcony overlooking the pool and the bay. The sunsets were gorgeous! The staff were all helpful and obliging. We were particularly impressed with Nick and Stavros in the bar/restaurant who were great company - we chatted with them a lot. The food served by the restaurant was excellent. The hotel staff arranged airport transfers for us and taxis to and from places that we wanted to visit, and were good at giving us recommendations regarding what to see and do. All in all, it was a fabulous few days and it was over much too soon!

Peaceful and beautiful stay

The views from Kalestesia Suites was absolutely stunning all day round. As it is at the top of the hill it is very peaceful. There aren’t that many rooms which makes it feel quite private. The hotel has everything we needed and the food was very tasty! They have a small team of staff who you’ll get to know quickly who will do anything to help and are so friendly. There is also a lovely cute dog on site who lives at the hotel who I loved cuddles with. A special mention to Theodorus Who was so incredibly helpful and kind. He helped us out and was on the other end of the phone whenever we needed him. Thank you Theodorus! Be aware - As it is right at the top of a hill it makes it very hard work to walk to the hotel! If you aren’t fit you will struggle. Taxi’s are super expensive on the island and car hire isn’t the cheapest.

We booked this property for a romantic vacation, but the reality was nothing like advertised. The room we received looked nothing like the photos in the listing. When we raised this, the owner claimed he has multiple rooms within the same category and therefore considered it acceptable to provide a different room. The property had numerous serious issues: no cold water, no functioning air conditioning upon arrival, a dirty bathroom, a dirty and unusable hot tub, and construction work directly in front of the property killing the view that was never disclosed. The breakfast area and main pool were also located 300–400 meters away, requiring a walk in direct sun and heat. This was not clearly communicated beforehand. The pools were poorly maintained, with insects and debris floating in the water, making them unpleasant to use. When we raised these concerns, the owner was dismissive and aggressive rather than helpful. What was supposed to be a relaxing and romantic getaway became a stressful experience. We eventually decided to leave and find alternative accommodation. We asked whether at least the breakfast we would never use could be refunded, but the owner refused, stating that “it’s just a business.” That response perfectly reflected the attitude we encountered throughout our stay. I would strongly advise future travelers to be cautious. The listing does not accurately represent what guests may actually receive, and customer concerns are not handled professionally.

Nous avons particulièrement adoré la piscine, qui offre une vue panoramique magnifique, paisible et reposante\.Je tiens également à remercier chaleureusement tout le personnel pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil\. Un grand merci tout particulièrement à Orestis pour sa gentillesse, son amabilité et sa disponibilité\. Il nous a énormément aidés avant même notre arrivée à l’hôtel\. Il était très réactif et toujours présent lorsque nous avions besoin de lui\.La chambre était nettoyée tous les jours et le petit\-déjeuner était très bon, rien à redire de ce côté\-là\.Je vous conseille de louer une voiture si vous souhaitez visiter l’île, car l’hôtel est assez éloigné des principaux lieux d’attraction\. En revanche, il y a un très joli village à proximité, où vous pouvez manger, vous promener et faire quelques petites boutiques si vous le souhaitez\.En revanche, je suis très déçue concernant la salle de sport\. C’est vraiment dommage, car j’avais notamment choisi cet hôtel parce qu’il disposait d’une salle de sport\. Malheureusement, quasiment aucun équipement ne fonctionnait et beaucoup de machines étaient cassées\. La salle est donc pratiquement inutilisable\.Nous avons signalé le problème au personnel ainsi qu’au gérant, qui semblait surpris que le matériel ne fonctionne pas\. El hotel está en zona alejada de difícil acceso, en parte alta, muy expuesto al viento, es necesario alquilar un auto pequeño para poder llegar y moverse, yo coordiné con el hotel para que me recojan con mi familia desde el puerto pero nunca llegaron a recogernos, tuvimos que buscar transporte para ir al hotel que fue difícil ya que por lo alejado de este no quieren ir, tomamos 2 transportes y llegamos a la parte baja de la montaña, tuvimos que subir la cuesta empedrada con maletas para llegar al hotel, fue muy difícil y desagradable el inicio. El personal es amable pero limitado en número y preparación, no se dan abasto, el servicio por eso es regular. El hotel Tiene 2 zonas, la cercana a la piscina (blanca con celeste) que está muy bien y la más alejada que es más nueva (De color beige) que es incómoda y alejada, tienes que bajar y subir una pendiente empinada cada vez que sales o vas al cuarto. Me tocó estar en la zona alejada sin saberlo con antelación, no tuve servicio de limpieza de cuartos, y el viento muy fuerte le da de forma directa, alguien mayor de edad o con alguna discapacidad no podría estar en esas habitaciones. Por otro lado, no es verdad que el hotel está a pocos minutos caminando de la playa, esto es falso, es prácticamente imposible salir y volver o llegar a la playa o a cualquier lugar sin tener auto. Este hotel hace sentido solo si alquilas auto y te hospedas en las habitaciones de la zona cercana a la piscina (las blancas con celeste)

Cafe da.manha servido no quarto (eles que escolhem o que voce irá comer) muito simples, pouca fruta, nem manteiga oferecem. Tudo que voce solicitar a recepção, reze para ser atendido. O cúmulo foi que no primeiro dia de hospedagem, saimos para passear e recebe uma mensagem que deveria voltar ao hotel pois minha diaria teria vencido e meu quarto seria limpo para um novo hospede. Tínhamos reserva paga para tres dias. Nem desculpa pelo erro ou no check out perguntaram se gostaram. Nao vale a pena somente pela vista. Vista você terá pela.ilha toda.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti nel mese di Agosto presso questa struttura. Al momento del Check-In ci è stato comunicato che avremmo dovuto cambiare per ben 2 volte la camera per lavori di ristrutturazione. Nelle prime due camere il bagno puzzava di marcio. La colazione è stata l'esperienza peggiore! Non era a buffet ma bisognava fare la propria scelta la sera precedente specificando gli alimenti (pochissima scelta) e persino l'orario (8.30-9.30-10). Dosi ridotte e servizio pessimo effettuato da un cameriere immusonito e incapace di comunicare. L'ultima camera nel nuovo edificio distante dal principale era in effetti nuova e decisamente più bella. La colazione veniva servita in camera senza purtroppo poterla scegliere. Abbiamo quindi avuto la sorpresa ricevere una colazione da noi non gradita. Ciliegina sulla torta, l'addetto al transfer in auto dall'Hotel verso l'aeroporto (servizio al costo di 40 euro) non si è nemmeno degnato di aiutarci nel trasporto e carico dei bagagli. Non consigliamo assolutamente questa struttura.
