Extremely friendly staff The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a little disappointed as there was not a great deal of variety However the pizza for dinner was absolutely delicious and cheap. Would highly recommend this hotel as its away from a very busy central of mestre.

My husband and I stayed for 3 days while visiting Venice and the staff were very kind and accommodating and went above and beyond to help us navigate the tram system. The room was very clean had a big window that opened for fresh air and beds were on the firmer side which we enjoy. The only thing I’d recommend is maybe adding more pillows to the bed.

We had a single night’s stay at the Hotel. Everything went well, from the welcome on arrival, to the checkout next day and pre-arranged taxi to the airport. There was an issue with the lift on departure. It did not arrive at level 3 and I had to walk my suitcase down to level 2 and call it from there. Hopefully this issue has been sorted out for future patrons. The taxi driver was on time and waiting in the foyer. He was helpful with my luggage at pick up/drop off. I was disappointed that on arrival at the airport, he did not have change for a 50 Euro note (on a 40 Euro fare), nor did he have a “tap and pay” system in his cab. I was left with no option but to forgo 10 Euro. Customers should be made aware of this in advance or this issue should be rectified for future customers.

Great choice of hotel at Mestre

We had a very good stay. The room is very comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is very convenient, we got the tram to reach Venice and the ticket can be bought at the hotel. Andrea and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful with all our requests. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was huge with great air conditioning (2 in the room because it was large), skylight in the bathroom and as an added bonus there was an elliptical machine in the corner! Hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. Location was good - quiet, safe, close to airport (taxi €30) and close to tram into Venice (you can buy tickets/passes from front desk). We loved the Smart Hotel in Venice! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Unprepared

I wasn't very happy as I booked the most expensive room of the hotel, and at arrival i found it unprepared: electricity was off and had to call the reception to fix it, the phone didnt work and I had to go back all the way down to front desk, there were 2 towels randomly in the ceiling, the sofa bed was open with 2 beds despite the booking was for only 2 people and the service was unavailable (as we arrived late) to put it back in place, and finally our double bed was actually made of 2 separate materrasses hence there was a space in between that made the bed uncomfortable. We looked for water and the plastic bottle water in the minibar was used and a left over from the prior guests. The heating control worked but the heating was very weak and we were cold during the night. The hotel staff was very nice and responsive/helpful to these incidents, but those made the arrival and the stay disappointing and not congruent to the description, the 4 stars and the type of room that was sold.

L’hôtel était très propre, notamment les toilettes et les douches. Le personnel de la réception était très aimable et serviable. Les points négatifs étaient la chaleur étouffante dans la chambre et le ventilateur, qui était extrêmement bruyant et inefficace pour rafraîchir la pièce. De plus, il n’y avait pas de chaussons pour la douche. N’ayant pas apporté les nôtres, nous avions fait confiance à l’hôtel pour en mettre à disposition. Le personnel chargé du nettoyage des chambres faisait beaucoup de bruit dans le couloir le matin, ce qui nous réveillait. Dans l’ensemble, c’est toutefois un très bon hôtel en matière d’hygiène.
